Victoria’s secret is one brand on which I don’t mind splurging on….blindly. So did I do it again when I saw this beautiful bottle with a sensual name, Victoria’s Secret Sensual Blush Fragrance mist. I was drawn towards the very name and the even more interesting notes. Read on to find how this impulsive-blind buy proved its worth.

My take on Victoria’s Secret Sensual Blush Fragrance Mist:

Packaging: Beautiful and sensuous packaging. An amazing magenta coloured bottle, with a label at the back which has huge lotus flowers printed on it. Totally perks up my dressing table on a gloomy day. The spritzer is housed in a sturdy transparent cap, which shuts tight. The spritzer dispenses the right amount of the fragrance mist in every spritz. Thus the packaging is extremely travel friendly.

Fragrance: I am a sucker for fruity, gourmand and vanilla based fragrances, and prefer to stay away from floral perfumes as they tend to give me a major headache. Even though I was aware of this fact, I still went ahead and ordered this fragrance mist with the only hope that the key note which said “sultry woods” would come out more evident. Just the first spritz proved me wrong, as it was just too floral for my liking and I was disappointed. But just after a minute, I could see myself sniffing my wrists over and over again and I knew that the sultry woods had done its magic. Yes, I was in love and now, I am obsessed with this fragrance. Though I am still not a fan of its initial beginning of sharp floral note which VS describes it as Pink lotus, I definitely adore the immediate dry down of sensuous woods and the warmth it delivers. This fragrance is sweet, yet nowhere near to being a girly-pink scent and rather it’s a very sophisticated, sultry scent.

Beauties who adore simple yet sophisticated floral-woody fragrance, this fragrance mist would be the perfect choice.

Longevity and Sillage: The longevity of this fragrance mist is pretty impressive and it stays for good 4 hours on my skin and even on clothes. After which, it starts fading but you can still smell it when you sniff close.
The sillage is average and one can detect the smell for an hour, when you get a little close, but how much more can we expect from a fragrance mist! Occasion:Since the fragrance inclines more towards sweet-warm pattern, it’sperfect for office wear and most ideal for an evening date.

Also, i prefer using this in the colder and cloudy days, since it wakes me up and makes me feel more relaxed.

• VS is known for its adorable chic packaging.
• Packaging is travel friendly.
• Sensuous, sophisticated and feminine fragrance.
• Smell lasts for 3-4 hours which is pretty good considering it’s a fragrance mist.
• Does not stain clothes.
• Does not irritate the skin at all.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Sensual Blush Fragrance Mist:

• Availability and price of VS’s products in India is still an issue.
• I found it to be a little over powering to be worn during summers because of the floral note.

Well, this bottle alone would last me for another 5 months even if worn every day. VS has a wide range of fragrance collection and thus I would like to try out other variants and not again the same.
