Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Scented Body Mist Review

I am crazy about Victoria’s Secret. I have about 20 of their products (fragrances and bags only till date *ahem ahem*) and I still can’t get enough. There’s something very enchanting and feminine about their products, be it the packaging or using them. ‘Sexy Little Things’ is Victoria’s Secret’s fine fragrance line and has Noir and Noir Tease. I have used both. This review is about the Noir body mist.

Notes:

Top Notes: Nectarine, Juicy apple, Sparkling citrus, Pineapple, Guanabana, Pear, Bergamot.

Middle Notes: Cattelaya orchid, Lily of the valley, Cyclamen, Jasmine petals, Plum, Vanilla, Dewberry, Cassis.

Base Notes: Golden amber, Velvet musk, Sultry woods, Tonka bean.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Scented Body Mist:

Packaging: The first thing to notice about this is the smooth candy like bottle. It is a sturdy plastic bottle with rounded edges. But, the design is extremely mediocre. Its sister scent Sexy Little Things Noir Tease has a sexier packaging with the lace print. I think it should look sexy in addition to calling itself sexy 😀 .

In the bottle: You can instantly smell some fruity floral goodness. There are also the warm notes of Tonka beans (Tonka beans are used as a substitute to vanilla beans). It is less sweet than Noir Tease.

On my skin: I spray this liberally all over my body. The instant fragrances that hit you are warm amber, fruity citrus and vanilla. It’s like a concoction of warm diced fruits with flowers. This lasts for about 3 hours on my skin after which a slight Jasmine and Tonka lingers. This mist smells mainly of vanilla, musk and citrus and is warm on the whole.

Noir means ‘black’ in French; and so you would expect this to be associated with black gloves and vamp nylons. But, there are no dark or mysterious notes. It is almost like a seductively elegant scent, which is sweet and playful at the same time. Because of that, this fragrance can be complimented with almost anything that I am wearing. I love it for its flirty and feminine feel. And that’s what we all want right?One downside though is that since this is not a very light scent, it is not that great for summers and is more suited for winters.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Scented Body Mist:

• An awesome concoction of fruity, floral and warm notes.
• Stays on for a good 3 hours.
• Mild enough for sensitive noses (I just cannot stand strong perfumes :-\ ).
• Can be worn by all age groups.
• Can be worn for any time of the day.

Cons on Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Scented Body Mist:

• Difficult to get your hands on this one.
• Design is very plain for a fine fragrance line.

Would I Repurchase Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Scented Body Mist?

Maybe not, since I have zillions of other fragrances in this world to try out and this is not the best I have smelt till date.

Would I Recommend Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Scented Body Mist?

It is a kind of smell that will be liked by majority of the people and so if you can find this somewhere, you should definitely try this.
