I am here with another review. Today, it is the Victoria Secret Sweet Daydream Body Lotion. This is one of my absolute favorite products from VS.  Let’s get right to the review 🙂

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Sweet Daydream Hydrating Body Lotion:

This is my second bottle already and I literally cannot live without it. This is my go-to fall lotion, my absolute favourite.  So, this comes in an standard VS lotion plastic bottle with a golden cap. The golden cap has a small dispenser which needs to be tapped from one side to open and dispense the product onto the hands. The bottle contains about 250ml of product in it. And the bottle itself is a little translucent and we can see how much product is left in the bottle and how much it is used up.

The fragrance is a little hard to describe, but it has a very sweet and flowery scent to it; sweet as in vanilla smell to it. The fragrance lasts for about 4 hours after application of the lotion (I wish it stayed on longer). I can only smell it if I smell my skin. Since this is just the lotion, the scent of it doesn’t last that long, but if you are keen on the smell, you could purchase the body mist with the same fragrance from VS.

The lotion itself is very light on the skin. A very small amount of the product goes a long way. The lotion blends into the skin very easily and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. The lotion is not at all greasy. It is very moisturizing on the skin and when skin is scratched, it doesn’t show any white line. The lotion stays on for a good 6 hours in the fall, maybe a little less in the winter. I haven’t tried this in the summers though.  The lotion is almost sheer, it appears to be a light beige color when dispensed onto the hand, but blends on very easily and does not give any color to the skin.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Sweet Daydream Hydrating Body Lotion:

• Packaging is easy to use.
• Moisturizing.
• Floral smell.
• Blends into the skin easily.
• Fragrance is very mild and not overpowering.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Sweet Daydream Hydrating Body Lotion:

• No SPF.
• Not easily available in India (mostly available on online sites).
• Expensive.

Final Verdict:

I would definitely buy this again. As I had mentioned earlier, this is my second bottle and I would always go back to this. 😀
