The product I’m reviewing today is one of my party go-to’s; whenever I’m going to a party or any formal occasion and want to make a glamour statement, I make sure I’ve used this super glam product by VS. it’s Victoria’s Secret Shimmering body lotion from the Very Sexy Now collection.

Electrify the night in glamorous golden shimmer. Shimmering lotion leaves skin soft , scented and glowing in Very Sexy Now,a rich and soothing formula that teases skin with a seductive blend of vanilla orchid, sun-drenched clementine and midnight blackberry.

TIPS & TRICKS: For longer lasting fragrance, layer with Very Sexy Eau de Parfum or Very Sexy Fragrance Mist.

My take on Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Now Shimmering Lotion:

A body lotion that smells of orchids and blackberries. Check! A body lotion that moisturizes well. Check! A body lotion that gives a shimmering effect. Check! These all are the qualities of this body lotion and boy, ain’t this a complete package?The body lotion comes in a beautiful purple tube that has a very glittery packaging. On top of the tube, the name of the lotion is mentioned and at the bottom, the quantity. On the back side, product description, place of mfg, etc are mentioned.

Just a little bit of body lotion is enough to give a gorgeous shimmery effect and moisturize arms/ wherever you choose to apply it. So that way, a 200 ml lotion is supposed to go a long way. The scent of the lotion stays on for 4 hours at least. But the glitter particles shine until you wipe skin with a wet cloth. The glitter particles it contains are actually very minute and are a bronze in color. I usually layer the body lotion with a similar fragrance mist/ EDP so that the fragrance becomes more prominent. The shimmer particles it contains are about perfect, nothing about it screams OTT. It looks very elegant. This lotion makes for a perfect evening party lotion. But I have used it a couple of times in the day too. When in sunlight, the shimmer particles shine and give a very beautiful bronze tint. Since this is such an amazing shimmering lotion, I use it very miserly because you never know when VS discontinues it. LOL

Will I repurchase/ do I recommend Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Shimmer Lotion?

I surely will repurchase it if I find it again. And I do recommend it if you like bronze shimmer.
