I have totally turned into a hardcore “body wash and lotion” lover, although shower gels were my favorites earlier too, the lotions have entered the league too. I got this body lotion just because there was a discount, but the results were good. Have a look at the review!

My Experience with Vivel Cell Renew Intensive Restore Nourish+Repair Body Lotion:

I got this Vivel lotion a few months ago only because it was on sale 😛 I wasn’t expecting a lot from it since Vivel is an average brand, but it worked pretty good! The lotion is of 250 ml, but it will barely last 20 days in total because I used it for around 2 weeks, and just a little bit is left now. It comes in an average bottle with a pump nozzle which makes it more convenient to use. I love how they have kept the packaging pretty decent and simple.

The lotion is of pure white colour and is moderate in consistency; neither too runny nor too thick. Just 2-3 pumps are required to cover my body. It layers on very smoothly on my skin and the fragrance is something which makes me feel it was a right decision to get this. It has a creamy fruity smell and I could probably connect it to a grape flavoured bubble-gum, not that overpowering, but a similar scent.  The fragrance has a strong sillage for the initial 10 minutes and then settles down, but yet, I can smell it for the next 4 hours.

I use it directly after taking bath which is why it gets absorbed beautifully. There is this greasy feeling that I get during the initial 10-15 minutes, but then, it gets absorbed well. It hydrates my combination skin very well and I think it is suitable during summers and winters too. But it will not suit extremely dry skin for winters, although it’s good enough for dry skin during summers. These were the short-term benefits, now coming to the long-term ones. It claimed to repair my skin, but I did not notice any big difference.  The texture seemed to have improved a bit, but not something that I would call a transformation, but yes, it heals the dryness near the elbows, so if you call that a repair, then yes, it did. Secondly , t claimed to enhance the luminosity of dull skin and it genuinely did so. My skin looked brighter. It also added a bit of a glow to my skin, it looked healthier than before. It also did firm up sagging skin near the arm, not much, but I could feel the firmness.

Overall, I think this is a must try because it does most of the things it claims, but on the contrary, we get big bottles from Vaseline and Parachute at that price.

Pros of Vivel Cell Renew Intensive Restore Nourish+Repair Body Lotion:

• Very decent and simple packaging in white with a convenient pump nozzle.
• The consistency is very good for a massage.
• Smells heavenly, like grape bubblegum.
• Keeps my combination skin hydrated for a good 7-8 hours.
• Great for dry skin during summers.
• It made my rough and brown elbows appear better and improved the texture well.
• Added a nice subtle glow to my skin which is why my skin looks healthier.
• It firmed up the skin near my arms up to a good extent.

Cons of Vivel Cell Renew Intensive Restore Nourish+Repair Body Lotion:

• Won’t work for dry skin during winters.
• Does not exactly repair the skin, doesn’t firm it up completely.
• We have better alternatives.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Vivel Cell Renew Intensive Restore Nourish+Repair Body Lotion?
Although I liked it, I wouldn’t come back to it, as at this price, I can get more better products with more quantity and I wouldn’t go crazy after the amazing fragrance, because I have BBW and VS lotions which would beat this!
