VLCC 3 Day Acne Corrector Review
Hi Everyone,
I am going to review the VLCC Acne Care 3 Day Acne Corrector for you guys today. I have never used any VLCC product other than this and I picked this up when I was going through a sudden acne phase a while ago.
I was so annoyed by the sudden burst of acne on my cheeks that I was pretty desperate and started trying all sorts of acne control products of which this was one. Let’s see how this worked:

It comes in a sleek, thin, plastic tube with a pointed nozzle that makes it very easy and hygienic to use the product.
Texture:
It is a transparent gel that is easy to spread on the face. As the product claims, it has a very strong clove and menthol fragrance, more clove than menthol I would say.

My Take on VLCC 3 Day Acne Corrector:
So, I generally don’t get a lot of acne, but have these sudden bursts once every year during summers. This is the time, when I pick and try random acne control products and since I did not have any experience with VLCC before, I thought of giving this a try.
To say that I was disappointed with the product would be an understatement. It did absolutely nothing on my acne! It neither reduced the redness, nor did it do anything to dry them out. It was as if I was applying water on them 😐
On top of that, after application, it stings like hell due to the menthol I guess and that did not agree with me at all. It stung so much that I actually went and washed my face. It does not get absorbed very easily and leaves behind an oily film for quite some time. Eventually, it does get absorbed, but it takes too long for my comfort. It went from bad to worse when the strong menthol/clove smell just refused to subside and made me nauseous.
Pros of VLCC 3 Day Acne Corrector:
- It gives you an excuse to flush Rs. 79 down the toilet.
No pros other than that.
Cons of VLCC 3 Day Acne Corrector:
Let me not waste time and write short bullets:
- Nauseous smell.
- No effect on acne and does not deliver any of its claims.
- Leaves behind an oily film.
- Stings like hell.

Aarbee…..I am not too fond of VLCC products myself 🙁 The only instant acne correctors that work are Garnier pimple pen and home remedy with turmeric paste…..:( none other have worked for me….
Jomol, you said it…I love the pimple corrector pen, it really works! I am never gonna buy V*CC products in my life again!

Hey Aru, my acne is actually a very temporary thing…get a sudden spurt of them once during summers…so the G*rnier pimple pen works really well on them, and I also crush garlic pods and dilute them a little with water and apply on and around the acne…they subside by morning…this has worked really well for me
Thank god i didn’t get it. I have had good experience with some of the vlcc products, but this one is totally useless.

Try the G*rnier pimple pen corrector Shami, that works for me really well…also in natural remedy you can try putting a little bit of crushed garlic on the pimple, it subsides after a couple of applications. Dilute it with some water though so as not to burn the skin.
try neosporin gel,,i use it. N it really does wonder…

not a fan of of vlcc products..none worked for me as i thnk vlcc products are very slow performer.. and for instant acne corrector a big no to vlcc

hey.. try Biotique winter green – spot correcting and anti-ance cream. Does wonders in 2-3 applications. even i am not prone to ance but i get sometimes because of excess heat. my bro’s wedding is next week and i had a huge red pimple on my cheek 🙁 🙁 so bought this cream 2 days back and my pimple is dried and healing. 😀 D !!!!!!!!!!! it says for oily skin on the pack but anyone can use it.. i have “dry as desert” skin btw !! hope this helps 🙂

Hello everybody… I am a new victim of the acne attack :(.. Have tried Lotus tea tree oil anti acne gel as well as the facepack… But of no use… Since I have shifted to Pune… this problem has just been getting worse… Now I am applying Retino AC gel… don’t know… if it would work out… Is there any Puneite who can help me out with this problem?
