My today’s review would be on the VLCC Anti ageing Foaming Face Wash with Wheat & Margosa. Lately I’ve been high on anti-ageing products as mid-twenties is the time when one should really start looking after her skin well. Last month on my visit to the supermarket, I spotted this beauty on the shelf and without wasting much time I brought it home. So let’s see how this one turned out.
Make your skin soft and glowing with this Anti Ageing Foaming Face Wash by VLCC that is enriched with the extracts of wheat and margosa. Ideal for all skin types it will efficiently remove excess oil dirt and impurities from your skin.
Price: INR 155 for 100ml
My Experience VLCC Anti Ageing Foaming Face Wash Wheat & Margosa:
The face wash comes in a white and pink, opaque tube with a tight flip-flop cap and is very convenient to carry around. The front part of the tube has the product name printed on it and on the reverse side a complete list of ingredients is mentioned along with the date of mfg. and expiry.
The consistency of the face wash is creamy and it is pearly pink in colour. The face wash isn’t very runny and on squeezing the tube the exact amount needed for a wash is released so there’s no product wastage as well. The fragrance is very mild and soothing and makes the face cleansing experience really pleasant. The face wash foams really well and a little goes a long way. It was very gentle on the skin and didn’t give me that dry and stretchy feel. It was really good at removing the oil and impurities from my face and kept oil at bay for quite sometime.
This face wash would be pretty good for dry skinned women too as it’s quite mild and doesn’t dry out the skin but wouldn’t really be a feasible option for oily skinned women especially in the summers. Initially, after the first few washes, I didn’t really notice anything extraordinary and I considered it just another face wash in my washroom drawer. However, after a week on religious use every morning and evening I could feel my skin looking more refreshed, glowing and soft to touch. I would like to mention here that I used the face wash in synergy with my Lotus Herbals Youth Rx Anti Ageing Transforming Crème and together they’ve done a great work for tan removal and have even added a soft glow and suppleness to my skin.
Summing up the pros and cons,
Pros of VLCC Anti Ageing Foaming Face Wash Wheat & Margosa:
- Convenient squeeze tube packaging
- Has a lovely mild fragrance
- The nozzle dispenses the right amount of product
- The texture isn’t really runny and thus there wouldn’t be a lot of product wastage
- Foams really well and little would go a long way
- Added glow and suppleness to the skin
Cons of VLCC Anti Ageing Foaming Face Wash Wheat & Margosa:
- Wouldn’t really be great for oily skinned women in the summers.
IMBB Rating: 5/5
I reallllyyyyyyy loved this face wash a lot and I see myself using a lot of this in the months to come. It helped in adding that much required glow to my face and this is the only face wash that has left me completely satisfied after The Himalayas Purifying Neem Face Wash. I really recommend this to all the dry and combination skinned girls. It would really be a nice addition to the skincare range.
