My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Amla, Brahmi and Shikakai Hair Fall Control Shampoo:
Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The shampoo comes in a small transparent plastic bottle. This clear bottle helps to keep an eye on the amount of the product left inside. The bottle closes with a green colored flip top cap. The cap shuts very tightly and makes an audible click sound and ensures that the bottle is leak-proof and travel-friendly. The bottle has a label at the back, which bears the product description, ingredients list and other necessary information about the product. Overall, the packaging is nice, sturdy and travel-friendly.
The shampoo is light, translucent, olive green gel-like liquid. It has mild fragrance. The smell is very mild and not really over-powering. The smell is neither too pleasant nor too annoying. It smells kind of okay. It fades away gradually after some time. The consistency of the shampoo is slightly on the runnier side. The consistency is gel-like. It spreads easily onto the hair but a good amount of the product is needed to thoroughly cleanse the hair. I roughly take more than a coin-sized amount of the product for my mid-length hair. It lathers nicely and creates decent amount of foam, which gives me a squeaky clean hair.
It is capable of cleansing the hair nicely. It perfectly removes all the dirt and grime from my hair and scalp. It removes excess oil from my hair and scalp. This variant is not too drying. But, it snatches moisture from my hair if I use too much product or shampoo my hair twice. It does not cause tangling of hair and makes my hair smooth. This prevents hair breakage and hence it helps to control hair fall as well. The shampoo is free from harmful chemicals like parabens. Since the shampoo is free from chemicals, I prefer these to other ones.
