Skin type: Normal to dry
Hi lovely IMBBians,
How are you all? I have reviewed VLCC Ayurveda Chandan and Kesar Facewash earlier. This time, I am sharing my views on another variant from VLCC Ayurveda face wash range. Today, I am reviewing VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing and Brightening Haldi and Tulsi Facewash. Let’s check out how it turned out.
Price: Rs.100 for 100ml
Shelf Life: 3 years
My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing and Brightening Haldi and Tulsi Facewash:
VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing and Brightening Haldi and Tulsi Facewash comes in a transparent tube packaging with a flip open cap. The packing is simple and sturdy. This tube is easy to carry around and super affordable as well. The cap is easy to open and shuts tightly. Each of the face wash from this range has a theme color in accordance with ingredient’s color. As for this variant, the key ingredients are Haldi and Tulsi, so the face wash is of light lemon green color. The fragrance is of fresh raw turmeric with a mild hint of basil (tulsi). The fragrance is very mild.
The consistency of the face wash is gel type and quite runny. Because of this runny consistency, I wasted some amount of the product when I was first using it. Now, I keep it in lying position to avoid any further product wastage. A coin size amount is sufficient to cleanse the face and neck area effectively.
As the product is a soap-free formulation, it doesn’t lather up much. Now, as a cleanser, it works well to clean my skin deeply and removes dirt and impurities from the pores. It effectively works on pollution dirt and clears out all of it. It makes the skin fresh and deeply clear that it looks brighter as well. I really like its cleansing power that helps to make skin fresh. It effectively reduces the dull texture and brings back the natural glow on the skin. I mostly prefer to use it in the evening and it just pulls out all the dullness.
It doesn’t dry out the skin and there was no stretchy feeling after washing the face. The pleasant smell stays for some time. The skin feels soft and brightened after using this face wash. This face wash is well suited for acne prone skin as it has antibacterial properties. Although no skin type is mentioned on any of the face wash, so you have to choose by the ingredients that which variant will suit your skin type.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing and Brightening Haldi and Tulsi Facewash?
I am not going to repurchase it but definitely, recommend it. I will try other variants of this range. I will recommend it for people with normal and oily skin type. I am not sure how it will turn out on dry skin as it is a gel face wash.
