My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Lemon, Tulsi and Neem Dandruff Control Shampoo:
Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The shampoo comes in a small transparent plastic bottle. This clear bottle helps to keep an eye on the amount of the product left inside. The bottle closes with a light green colored flip top cap. The cap shuts very tightly and makes an audible click sound and ensures that the bottle is leak-proof and travel-friendly. The bottle has a label at the back, which bears the product description, ingredients list and other necessary information about the product. Overall, the packaging is nice, sturdy and travel-friendly.
The shampoo is light translucent yellowish gel-like liquid. It has a mild citrus fragrance with a mix of herbal aroma. The smell is very mild and not really over powering. It is refreshing and instantly lifts up the mood. The smell fades away gradually after some time.
The consistency of the shampoo is slightly on a runnier side. The consistency is gel-like and the shampoo spreads easily, but I need a good amount of the product to thoroughly cleanse heavily oiled hair and to create rich lather. The shampoo perfectly removes all the dirt and grime from my hair and scalp. It removes excess oil from my hair and scalp. It is not too drying in nature, but it works the best with properly oiled hair. It does not cause any tangling of hair when it is used on pre-nourished hair. But, when ever I use it without proper oiling. So, either I need to use oil on my hair before washing or follow up with a conditioner to make my hair soft, smooth and manageable.
It also does not contribute in taming the frizz of my hair. This shampoo did not cause any kind of hair fall issues and it also does not cause hair breakage. It helped in controlling dandruff and itchy scalp. My scalp stopped flaking. The shampoo is free from harmful chemicals like parabens. Since the shampoo is free from chemicals, I prefer these to other ones. And, I do not really mind the cons of this shampoo, as they are manageable.
