VLCC has recently launched four new facial kits in their ‘Ayurveda’ range. This review is all about VLCC Ayurveda Skin Brightening Facial Kit Haldi and Chandan.

My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Skin Brightening Facial Kit Haldi and Chandan:

Packaging:
The facial kit comes in a yellow colored paper box with all the details printed on it. It is a small box and there are five small tubes inside the packaging. I really prefer such tube packaging as they are hygienic and travel-friendly. Each tube contains 10g of product so I can use the kit twice. Overall, I am impressed with the packaging and it is a very affordable kit for everyone.

Fragrance:
Since this is the ‘Haldi and Chandan’ variant it smells exactly like chandan or sandalwood. It is a strong fragrance but I love such fresh ayurvedic fragrances.

Step 1:

Face Wash – It is a nice yellow colored gel face wash that glides well and removes dirt and excess oil from the face. It works perfectly to make the skin clear and bright. It deeply cleanses the skin to make it oil-free.

Step 2:

Face Scrub – The scrub has a smooth gel-like texture with yellow scrubbing particles that blend smoothly. It is a gentle scrub for sensitive skin. It makes skin smooth clear and removes its dull texture too. It removes dead skin cells and works slightly on blackheads. Still, it is not super effective on blackheads.

Step 3:

Face Gel – This is a nice lightweight soothing gel that glides easily on the skin and gets nicely absorbed. The formula makes the skin fresh, soft and smooth. It adds an oil-free glow to the skin and tightens up the texture as well. You don’t have to rinse this gel off.

Step 4:

Face Cream – The massage cream has a medium creamy consistency and feels light on the skin. It glides well but it dries out a little during the massage. This problem can be solved by using rose water along with this cream. I massaged with cream for around 15 minutes and then wiped it off. The cream gives a soft, supple and smooth skin and also improves the texture of the skin. It maintains elasticity of the skin as well. It does not feel oily or greasy but provides a good amount of hydration to the skin.

Step 5:

Face Pack – The final step is the face pack and it has a medium creamy consistency, which glides smoothly on my skin. A decent amount of the product is required to cover my entire face. It is quite easy to rinse off. It provides brightness to the skin too.

Results:
The product claims to make skin bright and it does its job pretty well. It has firmed up my skin quite a bit and it looks healthier now. It has removed dull texture and provided a bright youthful glow. It has also provided good amount of hydration to the skin. This kit suits my sensitive skin well and keeps it oil-free, too. But it hasn’t been able to reduce dark spots or pigmentation.

This kit has provided instant rejuvenation and made my skin glow, which definitely makes it a nice option for times when we require quick results. The glow lasts around 3-4 days, which means the results are not long-lasting. Overall, this kit is a nice option and perfect for the wedding season.
