Skin type: Normal to dry
Hi lovely IMBBians,
How are you all? I have reviewed two variants of VLCC Ayurveda face washes earlier. Today, I am reviewing the face wash which is VLCC Ayurveda Skin Brightening Haldi and Chandan Face Wash. I was so impressed with VLCC Ayurveda Chandan and Kesar Face Wash that I picked this one also. Well, who doesn’t like to try a new face wash? Let’s check out whether you can give this face wash a try or not.
Price: Rs100 for 100ml
Shelf Life: 3 years
My Experience with Ayurveda Skin Brightening Haldi and Chandan Face Wash:
Ayurveda Skin Brightening Haldi and Chandan Face Wash comes in a transparent tube packaging with a flip open cap. The packaging is simple and sturdy. Each of the face washes from this range has a theme color in accordance with ingredient color. This face wash is of chrome yellow color. It looks like Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera gel. As the tube is transparent, one can view the product quantity as well. The fragrance is of mild sandalwood and fades away after some time. So, if you like mildly scented face wash, you will like this. I picked this face wash because of the fragrance. The consistency of the face wash is gel type and neither too thick nor too runny. A coin size amount is sufficient to cleanse the face and neck area effectively. I guess only VLCC Ayurveda Haldi and Tulsi Face Wash was a little runny in texture.
As the product claims to be a soap-free formulation, it doesn’t lather up much. Still, it manages to cleanse the skin very well removing all the dirt and oil. It doesn’t dry out the skin and there was no stretchy feeling after washing the face. The pleasant sandalwood smell stays for some time. The skin feels a little brighter for some time but the glow doesn’t last long.
I am quite impressed with VLCC Ayurveda range of face washes. The different ingredients combinations have something for every skin type. It is a soap-free and paraben-free range, so it’s a thumbs-up from me. It is light on pocket and packaging is travel-friendly. What else could you ask for?
Overall, it is an average face wash with a pleasant fragrance. You can give it a try.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Ayurveda Skin Brightening Haldi and Chandan Face Wash?
I am going to repurchase it for sure. I am totally in love with the fragrance. I will recommend it for normal and oily skin people. I am not sure how it will turn out on dry skin as it is a gel face wash. All the three variants I have tried have lived up to the mark.
