VLCC Ayurveda Skin Purifying Double Power Double Neem Facial Kit Review

Wedding season is coming soon and we all love to do facial to get an instant glow on face. I generally never do facial monthly or don’t prefer to do chemical facial at Salon. So, such home facial is best for me to get an instant glow on skin. VLCC has recently launched four new facial kits in their “Ayurveda range”. Earlier, they had launched four face washes and now, these facial kits come with same ingredients. I picked four of them, two for my mom and two for me. Now, let’s get into the review of Double Power Double Neem Facial kit. As I have oily sensitive skin, it is perfect for me.

My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Skin Purifying Double Power Double Neem Facial Kit:

Packaging:
The facial kit comes in a light green paper box with detailed information printed over it. It is a small box and inside it, five small tubes are nicely placed on a plastic tray. I really prefer such tube packaging that is hygienic and travel-friendly as well. Each tube contains 10g of product, so I can use them two times I think. Overall, I am impressed with the packaging and it is very affordable kit for all.

Fragrance:
The name already suggests that it contains “neem”, so it has that usual smell of neem. I personally like such fresh ayurvedic fragrance that feels good on skin. It is a pleasant fragrant and gives a nice relaxation as well.
Now, let’s get into the individual details.

Step 1- Face Wash

First step is to clean your face deeply and the neem face wash works perfectly to make skin clear and fresh. It is a nice green color gel that is exactly like their Ayurveda Neem Face wash and it provides a nice cooling sensation to skin as well. It works deeply to purify the skin and removes all the excess oil from it.

Step 2- Face Scrub

Scrub comes in a smooth gel like texture with micro green and yellow scrubbing particles. It blends smoothly and a gentle scrub for sensitive skin. It helps to makes skin clear and removes dead skin cells but, due to present of less scrubbing particles, it is not so effective on black heads. Also, I need little extra amount to work with it. The beads are little less than usual. But it makes my skin smooth and removes its dull texture too.

Step 3- Face Gel

This is a nice lightweight light green gel that glides easily on the skin, but it dries out little quickly. So, I have to pat some rose water to massage my face. Hence, it smoothly blends on the skin and gets nicely absorbed. It’s light gel formula makes skin clear and oil-free. It makes skin smooth and soft. It also adds a nice glow to my skin. This gel doesn’t need to be rinsed off.

Step 4- Face Cream

The massage cream has a medium creamy consistency and feels light on the skin as well. It glides easily but as a cream, it dries out a little during massage. This problem can be solved by using rose water along with this cream. I always love to massage my skin in a proper way for around 15 minutes and then wipe it off. The massage cream gives a soft, supple, and smooth skin and it helps to improve the skin texture too. It instantly makes my skin tight and healthy. It never feels oily or greasy that is perfect for my skin type, but it hydrates skin well.

Step 5- Face Pack

The final step is the face pack and it comes in a medium creamy consistency, which glides smoothly on my skin. A decent amount of the product is required to cover up my full face. It dries out quickly and the consistency is a little thin. Pack works well and provides an oil-free fresh healthy glow to skin. It is quite easy to rinse off.

Result

Now, all the products work fine and have never irritated my skin. My skin looks oil-free, fresh, clear and bright as well. It also tightens up the skin and adds nice healthy glow to it. My skin looks softer and smoother as well. But, it is not enough hydrating for dry skin. Now, as a purifying kit, it does purify my skin well but it can’t show the result on acne instantly. I mean you have to wait for that. Right now, I don’t have any problems like this but it never broke me out as well. It keeps my skin clear and fresh. It is definitely a nice option for that instant glow. But like all other facial kits, the glow lasts around 2-3 days only.
