My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda White and Bright Glow Gel Creme:
This crème comes in a beautiful white and pink coloured cardboard packaging. It has loads of information printed on all sides of the box. The tube is the same as the front of the box. This size is perfect to carry in my gym bag because if you dispose the cardboard box, the tube is compact enough to fit into my pouch. The screw cap mechanism works fine. Packaging is convenient.
The gel creme is a white-coloured cream. The consistency is thick but it gets absorbed quickly into the skin. It doesn’t leave a white cast on the face. Unlike the sunscreen, it doesn’t feel too heavy on my skin. In fact once it is absorbed, it feels like I’m wearing nothing. The texture is soft and smooth. It is light enough to not make my skin feel gross but moisturizing enough to keep my skin from drying the whole day.
The cream has a nice fragrance, like that of calcum powder, but also has a hint of herby fragrance to it. I like the fragrance. Initially, I didn’t, but it grew on me. The crème is moisturizing enough for me in this humid climate, but in the winters, I will need to reapply this or use a heavy lotion. For now, it is perfect for me.
It gives my skin a dewy look without looking oily or greasy. It doesn’t make my skin feel sticky or gross. The good thing is that it also has SPF 25, so it gives some sort of sun protection. The ingredient list is very promising but I didn’t notice a huge difference in my skin. Neither did it brighten up my skin or added a glow from within. I just use this as a regular crème for my face after gym.
