VLCC Cocoa Butter and Neem Foot Care Cream
Hello everyone,
My weekend has gone so fast, its true that time flies, now again waiting for the next weekend. So today I am here to review a foot cream from VLCC. I have tried their face scrubs and masks before but this is my first body product. None of their products have really impressed me in any way. Lets see how this one worked for me.
Price:
AED 15 for 100 ml
Product description:
This specially formulated cream combines the antiseptic properties of Neem and Fenugreek to heal and disinfect cracked heels while Cocoa Butter helps to nourish and pamper the feet leaving them feeling irresistibly soft and smooth.
Key ingredients:
Cocoa Butter, Neem, Fenugreek, Olive Oil and Mint Oil
My take on VLCC Cocoa Butter and Neem Foot Care Cream
Actually this is my first foot cream, I have never used any foot creams before in my life. I usually have this tendency to neglect my feet, they don’t look awful but still just like the rest of my body, its quite dry. I don’t have any cracked heels but my feet is very dry and rough to touch. I have been using hand creams for a while and it has really helped me in combating against dryness, so I thought why don’t I give foot creams a try. I bought this cream seeing the good ingredient list of Cocoa Butter, Neem and Fenugreek and I have been using this cream for a month now.
The cream comes in a bright yellow packing, an inverted matte-finish tube with a flip open cap. It shuts with a very tight click and can be very travel friendly. The tube contains all the details regarding product but it does not have a full ingredients list ,only the key ingredients are mentioned.
The cream is light yellow in colour and has a semi-thick consistency. It is light in texture and spreads easily on your feet. It also absorbs quickly leaving a cool sensation, probably from Mint Oil listed in the ingredients The fragrance is a bit similar to Krack cream which my mother used to apply on her cracked heels, but this had an additional scent of Neem. which I found a bit overwhelming. I was really expecting the heavenly smell of cocoa butter but it was very faint, better to say nil and that was my first disappointment. But then I felt an instant smoothness on my feet and felt very happy that I forgot about the scent. I started religiously using the product twice a day, morning after bath and at night before going to bed. I always applied the cream at night and wore a sock to get the full benefit of the cream. But as days passed by I did not find much difference in the texture of my feet, it gives a certain smoothness just after application but the longevity of this smoothness is very short-lived. I don’t have any cracked heels, so don’t know whether it provides any relief to them.
Overall I am not at all happy with the performance of this product. I think there should be a specification of skin type for this foot cream, it is not working for my very dry, parched feet with hardly any cracks. So don’t know who is going to benefit from this foot cream. It is just an okay product and can be used by those who does not have any major issues with their feet.
