VLCC Dandruff Control Conditioner Review

VLCC Dandruff Control Conditioner

Hellooo everyone!!!

I have some kind of obsession with scalp conditioners nowadays. You know, those, which are safe for scalp as well, and condition from root to tip. After my excellent experience with the VLCC Hair Fall Repair Conditioner, which also fell in the above category, I am always looking for something similar. Also, I am one of those people who have oily scalp, which turn a bit flaky during winters, resulting in mild dandruff. So, basically I wanted a conditioner to be used in conjunction with my Biotique Bio Margosa Anti Dandruff Shampoo, which I use when I get those occasional bouts & flakes of dandruff (yuck it is! I know *sob*). I have super silky hair (waist length), with an oily scalp, which get a bit of dandruff here and there when the season changes (weird I know).

So, basically, with all the above requirements in mind, I came across the VLCC Dandruff Control Conditioner, which, is the subject of today’s analysis cum review. So, let us get on with it and know how did it fare on me.

VLCC Dandruff Control Conditioner comes in a tube packaging with a flip top cap. It is a standard white & green packaging which is common for all VLCC conditioners. It also comes in the size of 100 gms, just like all other VLCC conditioners. The price also is common, Rs 105, very affordable. The packaging is travel friendly as the flip cap shuts firmly to prevent any kind of leakage. Plus the size is also travel friendly, although I really wish VLCC should have come up with bigger sizes too, I am too lazy to buy everytime and 100 gm tube finishes of pretty quickly if you ask me, specially when you are using it on both scalp and hair. Anyway, check out the pictures below for the product.

MY Experience with VLCC Dandruff Control Conditioner

All those who have read my previous review on VLCC Hair Fall Repair Conditioner know that I have super sensitive hair and scalp. That means, if anything suits me, it will basically suit everyone (WARNING : Exceptions might be there, so please refer to the ingredients, and see that you are not allergic to any of them). First thing which attracted me towards this were the ingredients. Most of the anti dandruff products in the market are simply loaded with chemicals, which, even if remove the dandruff, leave your hair dry and damaged. Where as, if you refer to the ingredients of this conditioner below, they are mostly herbal, with no parabens and silicons!! Isn’t that great? Also, the key ingredients are Rosemary and Menthol, both of which are anti bacterial and anti dandruff agents and great for oily scalp.

Second thing which I like about it is the smell. It is a very refreshing menthol smell. Although I must say it was foolish of me to try it in such a cold weather. The coolness of menthol in my hair and scalp literally had me freezing in bath. I nearly thought it would have frozen in my hair, you know, like that “shock laga” commercial. Seriously, it was cold. Nevertheless, this is a con, considering that in a month’s time summers would approach, and this product is sure to keep your scalp fresh and away from sweat. It leaves hair super soft and shiny, and smelling great too. You feel refreshed, which will be a great plus in the coming summers. It does not weigh down my hair.

Now, the main claims, dandruff control. I use it with my biotique anti dandruff shampoo, so yes, it does check my mild case, but I cannot say about people with serious case (you should consult a specialist if that is the case). For people with mild dandruff, which is due to change of hair product, or change of season, you can pair this one with any of your favourite shampoo, and will keep the flakes in check.

IMBB Rating

My Ratometer rates VLCC Dandruff Control Conditioner 4.5/5. This is a very affordable and herbal alternative to the otherwise chemically loaded products in the market. Also, it is a shuddh desi product.
Yes, I shall recommend & repurchase (when I say repurchase, that means that I shall come back to this product, though not immediately after this tube. I like to change 😛 )

So, this is it. I hope you found my review helpful. Till the next time, bye and love you all :* :* :*
