My Experience with VLCC Dandruff Control Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in the usual VLCC packaging that is, a white bottle with a flip open cap which shuts tightly and hence can easily be carried around on trips. The bottle has the brand name and logo in the front and has a list of key ingredients along with the price and other details mentioned at the back of the bottle. The shampoo has a lovely fragrance which I cannot really put into words but I would say that it’s similar to some other herbal shampoos available in the market and I really find it quite refreshing.

The texture of the shampoo is thick and creamy and is light, milky green in colour. Being thick, I always dilute the shampoo with some water before a wash.Once applied on the scalp it lathers pretty well and on washing it leaves the scalp feeling refreshed and squeaky clean. I generally tend to suffer from a greasy and itchy scalp in the monsoons but this shampoo works really well in eliminating the itchiness and oiliness without making the hair dry. It leaves the hair oil free for upto 2 days post a wash which is nice because generally my scalp gets greasy just on the second day post a wash. I anyway don’t suffer from acute dandruff but nevertheless I always tend to use an anti dandruff shampoo twice a week in the monsoons to combat any dandruff issues that I face and I must say that it works to a great extent. I didn’t apply conditioner post the first wash to see how the shampoo behaves and I must say I was pretty impressed. Inspite on being an anti dandruff shampoo it left my hair shiny and soft as compared to many anti dandruff shampoos that leave the hair rough and lifeless. So, this followed by an apple cider vinegar rinse have become might staple for the monsoon season.
