My Experience with VLCC DeTan + WhiteGlo Moisturising Body Lotion SPF 30 PA+++:

Packaging: The first thing is the 350 ml bottle. It’s big, bulky but bright. The ochre yellow and green bottle has a pump dispenser for easily squeezing out of the lotion. The bottle has detailed ingredient list, manufacturing info, and such. The packaging is good for long-term usage and keep on your dressing table, but absolutely unsuitable for travelling.

The texture of the body lotion is perfect. It is a thick lotion, not too watery, nor too creamy. It has a soothing sensation on skin, which can be attributed to aloe vera extract. The lotion feels cooling on dry, sun damaged skin, without any greasy feeling.

I often skip body lotion because my skin sweats a lot and I get uncomfortable, but this one feels good, with a pleasing calming scent. The lotion has SPF 30, which is pretty good for a body lotion. It solves the twin purpose of a moisturizer and sunscreen. The moisturizing effects easily lasts 4-5 hours. It soothes and hydrates skin, something I really like.

Coming to the detan part, I haven’t really seen anything big when it comes to tan removal. Combined with some “other” tan removal products, it does show some brightening effect. Nourished skin however does look more radiant than parched skin. Also, with consistent use, I feel there is some improvement in the texture of my skin.
