Hello Everyone,
My search for new products makes me stumble on to some new concepts of skincare and makeup. I was strolling in the aisles of a departmental store and spotted the new launches by VLCC. I say new concepts because I would have never thought of diamond in wash off mask that too from a brand like VLCC. The diamond variant facial kit from VLCC was in mini pouches but this one comes in a normal tube form.

 

Product Description:
A unique wash off mask that is enriched with goodness of diamond bhasma known for its detoxifying properties. This is an efficacious formulation that deep cleanses the skin revealing youthful glow. Its purifying action clarifies the skin leaving it youthful and glowing.

Directions for use:
Take appropriate amount and apply all over face and neck avoiding the eye area. Keep it on for 20mins. Wipe and rinse thoroughly.
Packaging:
The wash off mask comes in a plastic tube packaging. The body is transparent plastic and the lid is white in color. There is a sticker on the body, with the name, motifs and on the back side there is the directions, ingredients etc mentioned. The hole that dispenses the product is quite perfect as it does not ooze out a lot of product at one go.

 

Texture

Quite unique in terms of looks and texture I must say. It is pearly white with silver specks which are believed to be diamond bhasma. On application the silver specks look like tacky cheap eyeshadow mixed with a pearly white base. The mask glides on well but a little bit more of the product is required to spread on the face evenly. I believe I was in the mindset of using a cream and totally forgot that it is a mask.

My experience  with VLCC Diamond Detoxifying Wash Off Mask

The wash off mask is thick pearly white which has silver specks. It is neither very runny nor too thick like a balm. The functional tube lets you control the amount of product dispensed per use. I was kind surprised to see the silver specks but considering them to be diamond bhasma I gave in. otherwise I would have had never put a tacky glittery thing on my face. On application it gives a cooling sensation which stays till the mask dries off. But the direction says I got to wipe and then rinse. But on drying the mask turned into a sticky whitish cast on the face which cannot be wiped off. I wash off after drying and I am left with squeaky clean face which is smooth to touch. Though the results do not last more than a day but I still like it as I keep on touching my face after using this. It is an average wash off mask which is good for the summers as it gives a cooling a refreshing effect. You can try it as a part of your regular skin care routine.

Repurchase: no, I think I look for something else.

Recommend: nothing to rave about. You can try for once if you like cooling masks.
