Every brand tries to launch good and great kajals as a kajal is one make-up item that we use on a daily basis. And once we find the perfect one, we stay loyal to it. I have used each and every kajal that has been launched till date, so how could I miss this one! I wasn’t expecting much because VLCC has always been a mixed bag, but the results left me amazed! My Experience with VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal:
Packaging: The kajal comes inside a black, orange and a white pack which looks really bright and quirky. The kajal comes in a basic black packaging which is retractable and hence does not cause any product wastage. It is easy to use and very handy too. The price is very decent and affordable since it falls in the same price category as the other drugstore kajals.
Shade, pigmentation and consistency: The shade is a very dark and a bold black one. I was amazed the first time I swiped it on my waterline. Just one swipe and I could see the boldest black on my eyes. Compare it to any other kajal: L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique, Maybelline Colossal Kajal or Lakme Eyeconic Kajal, the VLCC one will turn out to be the darkest. It works absolutely well on the eyelids, under my eyes and on the waterline.
It appears to be all black and beautiful and my eyes definitely grab a lot of attention. The pigmentation is more than incredible. There is no need to rub the kajal for the colour to show up. The consistency is very soft and goes smooth but not soft enough to break, so basically, everything about this one is just perfect.
Staying power: The kajal needs like a minute to dry up and once it dries up, it does not budge from its place. It won’t smudge even if I wash it with water. That is just too good for a kajal from VLCC. The kajal stays over and under my eyes for more than 8-9 hours and some 3-4 hours on my waterline.
My eyes are a bit watery so the time gets restricted to 3-4 hours, but if you have normal eyes, then it could stay even more. It does not come off till the time I remove it with a make-up remover. I thought it wouldn’t come off easily but it did. My eyes felt clean and irritation-free. Hence, a very good kajal to pick up!

Yes, for sure. This is the blackest and the darkest kajal among the drugstore ones. I am going to be loyal towards this one until I find something better. VLCC totally nailed it! Highly recommended!
