My hunt for new skin care products has led me to discover quite a few nice products; there is always a flip side to this passion as you end up with such duds at time. 😛

I have always liked VLCC scrubs and Indian Berberry is one of my most used scrubs, so I grabbed not one but two of the new scrubs that have been launched sometime back by this brand. I’m quite happy with my purchase and intend to keep using this one for some time. Let’s get to the review now.

Product Description:
Routine Cleansing may not remove the dead skin cells, black heads and deep rooted impurities, making skin look dull and lifeless. Exfoliation is vital for deep cleansing and purification. This gentle scrub, enriched with Oatmeal, exfoliates dead skin cells, removes dirt and other impurities, deep cleans pores and restores natural moisture. Frangipani tones, purifies and soothes skin leaving it soft, supple and nourished.

Directions for use:
Scrub gently for 5-7 minutes with fingertips in a circular motion on wet face and neck avoiding areas around eyes and mouth. Rinse off and pat dry gently. Use 2-3 times a week. For optimal results, use in combination with Cacti & Litchi Hydrating Face Wash and Strawberry & Waterlilly Peel-Off Mask.

My experience with VLCC Frangipani & Oatmeal Gentle Exfoliating Scrub:

The scrub comes in a huge tube with a flip open cap. The packaging is pretty sturdy and it can be travelled with but it’s a bit bulky to carry. The fragrance is floral as Frangipani is one of the key ingredients, it is very mild and soothing and actually pleasant on the nose. I love sniffing it. 😛

The color of the scrub is soft pink and it has got very fine granules in a darker shade of pink. The texture of the scrub is thick as well as creamy and it spreads easily. I have super dry skin and after using this scrub my skin felt pretty nourished and soft. It deep cleans the pores and wouldn’t clog them. It assists in the elimination of those ugly blackheads and whiteheads. Furthermore, due to very fine granules it is very gentle on the face and it can even be used on a daily basis. :pompom:

Overall, it is a great everyday scrub for normal to dry skin.
