VLCC Glow + Sunblock Lotion with SPF 20 Review
One day, I asked my mom to get a sunblock for me when she was going for her shopping, and she bought me this. So, here I am reviewing this product.
Product Description:
Over exposure to harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun is responsible for skin darkening and ageing. VLCC glow+ sun block lotion with SPF 20 and PA++, provides complete protection from both UVA and UVB rays of the sun. enriched with the goodness of Sandalwood extract, it provides a healthy glow to the skin.
Key Ingredients:
Sandalwood extracts, saffron extracts, wheat germ oil, zinc oxide, aloe vera extract, water, melon extract.
Price:
Rs. 150 for 100 mL.
My Take on VLCC Glow + Sunblock Lotion with SPF 20:
The packaging is very sturdy with flip open cap. The lotion smells of pure sandal and has cream color. When I applied the sun block on my face, I went “yuck” because this lotion is too oily. For someone like me, who has combination skin, this lotion is a big failure. Looking at the heaviness of this lotion, I feel this is suitable only for very dry skin types.
Talking about the glow part that this product claims of, rather than glow, I feel this product makes my skin look very dull and uncomfortable. I applied this lotion 2-3 times and every time it made my skin look very dark.
Pros of VLCC Glow + Sunblock Lotion with SPF 20:
- Scent of sandal feels good.
- Packaging is good and travel friendly.
- Product is pocket friendly.
Cons of VLCC Glow + Sunblock Lotion with SPF 20:
- Very oily.
- Makes face look dull.
- Low SPF content.
Will I Buy VLCC Glow + Sunblock Lotion with SPF 20?

i tried using it as a body lotion too…but it kind of leaves an oily film on my skin…so when i wear shorts my legs show tubelights :p

Hey I tried using this in summer….but i used this only on my body..for my face i used a matte sunscreen….
Btw this was totally awesome on the body and it imparts a glow to it…especially on the legs so that u can wear skirts and dazzle everyone 😀

VLCC sun protection is complete no-no :-/
Still have not tried Vlcc sun protection products, will skip this out 🙂
