Time for another VLCC scrub review! I picked up two scrubs launched by this brand; I’ve already reviewed the Frangipani & Oatmeal variant, which I absolutely loved. Let’s see how I like this one.
Normal Cleansing may not be enough to remove dead skin cells and deep rooted impurities that make the skin dull. Regular exfoliation is a must. This specially formulated scrub has Walnut granules that exfoliate dead skin cells and blackheads. Lemongrass Oil protects skin from the harmful bacteria while Mangosteen extract assists in cell regeneration and replenishment of skin’s vital nutrients, making it healthy, soft and moisturized.

My experience with VLCC Mangosteen & Lemon Gentle Exfoliating Scrub:
The scrub comes in a huge tube with a flip open cap. The packaging is pretty sturdy and it can be travelled with but it’s a bit bulky to carry.
The key ingredients were enough to tempt me; I love Mangosteen, not only it is a delectable fruit but it is also loaded with various skin benefits. It has got antioxidants and anti-ageing properties and also helps reduce blemishes. Walnut is a great exfoliator and is a staple ingredient in most of the scrubs. Lemongrass Oil has anti bacterial properties and it also helps to minimize the pores.
The fragrance is very therapeutic, it smells like a spa treatment room 😛 It is calm, soothing and pleasant on the nose. The color of the scrub is light orange and it has got very fine brown walnut granules. The texture of the scrub is thick plus creamy and it spreads easily. I like to gently massage it on my face for 5 minutes and then rinse it off. I have a very dry & sensitive skin and after using this scrub my skin felt hydrated, soft and supple. It deep cleans the pores and does not clog them. It also helps in removing those hideous blackheads and whiteheads. Moreover, it can be used on a daily basis as the scrub granules are really tiny and gentle. By and large, it is a great scrub for all skin types.
Pros of VLCC Mangosteen & Lemon Gentle Exfoliating Scrub:
Cons of VLCC Mangosteen & Lemon Gentle Exfoliating Scrub:
I don’t find any con with this except for the bulky packaging which doesn’t bother me much.
