VLCC Soya Protein Conditioning Shampoo Review

Hello gorgeous ladies,

This is my first article on IMBB and I’m glad that I belong to the IMBB gang, now!

Well, about me, I live in Chennai and work for an IT MNC.Since my college days I had a craze for cosmetics and grooming stuffs, but it became ardent and I came to know about plenty of brands only after I came across this blog. Thanks to Rati & the IMBB family for the gyan share. 🙂

Believe me gals,IMBB is the first site I browse as soon as I sit at my workstation at 7 in the morning. 🙂
Now coming to the product review, here we go.

VLCC Soya Protein Conditioning Shampoo

vlcc soy protein conditioning shampoo

Product claim:
This antiseptic hair cleanser, enriched with natural protein & Turmeric, penetrates hair shafts & nourishes the scalp. It adds body & luster of hair.

Ingredients & Directions to use:

vlcc soy protein conditioning shampoo

Price: 140INR for 200ml

My experience:
I’ve been using dove hair care range for a while and I wanted to pick something herbal and I came across this protein conditioning shampoo. The words “Protein & Soya” attracted me and I ended up picking it.

I’ve been using this product for almost 4 months now and yes ,it does real good work on your hair.

It comes in a white bottle with a navy blue flip open cap. The shampoo looks orangish(sort of honey like),and smells of turmeric and shikkakai, which is not very strong. It is transparent and not very thick in consistency.

A little amount of the product is enough to produce lather on wet hair and the cleansing action is good. My hair type is frizzy and dry scalp.

Once I wash my hair and dry it out, I could see my hair shiny. It did not make my hair look dry and lifeless.

I liked the texture of my hair after shampooing. Sometimes, I don’t use a conditioner(out of laziness :-P),still no drying effect!
I just love this one and would continue using it. More than its conditioning property and other goodness I love the mild smell of shikkakai 🙂

Pros:

  • Reasonably priced
  • True to what it claims- adds shine and luster
  • Does not make your hair dry
  • Natural ingredients
  • Lathers well
  • The mild smell of shikkakai

Cons:

  • I could not find any.

Final Verdict:
Overall this product suited me very well and I am very much satisfied.

Will I re-purchase? Yes, of course!

  1. hii, Welcome to IMBB.. Nice review.. And good to know that this shampoo is silicon free. I was happy with Dove but i think i should now go for silicon free shampoos only. currently I am using Tony&Guy detox, once I finish that tiny bottle, I am immediatly gonna start with this one… :yahoo: :yahoo:
