Hope you are in the best of health and spirits. I have been swamped with work lately, hence the sporadic reviews. I have a bunch of products to review and have decided to review this amazing facial kit from VLCC’s Professional range called Specifix.

My Experience with VLCC Specifix Professional Brightening Facial Kit:

The packaging is pretty good. This facial kit comes in a sleek cardboard box, with white and pink color. The box is of a decent size, and houses the four products in white tubes, arranged in a clear plastic tray. The box has product details written clearly. Overall, I do not find any flaws in the packaging.

This facial kit is a brightening facial kit, and is meant to suit all skin types. I agree with this claim, because all the products are gentle yet effective on skin, non-drying and none of them irritated my sensitive skin. Women with dry skin might want to soak up some additional moisturizer or cream after the last step. Now, let’s get in the details of each product.

Hydrating Cleansing Lotion: This cleanser is a white liquid with a pleasant scent. Enriched with aloe vera and allantoin, it feels very soothing while massaging on skin. I rub it in my skin for 2-3 minutes and wipe of with a wet cotton pad. My skin does feel refreshed and it also removes residual makeup and grime.

Brightening Scrub: I love scrubbing and this white scrub has tiny pink particles which creates exfoliation. These particles do not cause micro-tears on the skin due to abrasion, but clears off dead skin cells and reveals renewed skin texture. It contains aloe vera and papaya extracts, hence your skin does feel very clear and smooth. It also helps in removing quite a few of my whiteheads.

Renourish Brightening Massage Cream: This is a lightweight but nourishing cream which goes smoothly on skin. Containing beeswax and almond, it is great for giving a stimulating massage in the comfort of your home. My skin looks very supple after using this.

Instant Radiance Mask: This brightness boosting mask has mulberry and lemon peel. It takes away dullness and gives a fair complexion.

This kit has worked amazingly for me. My tanned, dull and oily skin showed a remarkable difference in a single usage. You can get two uses out of it if you are a bit judicious like me. Priced at Rs. 125 only, this kit delivers results with a bang. The results last a couple of days, if you use decent sun protection.
