Today’s review is on VLCC Specifix Professional Instant Radiance Mask. I have heard awesome reviews about this product and it is out of stock even on their official website most of the time. I was really eager to try this particular product from their professional range and finally managed to grab one from an online shopping site. Read on to know my views on it.

My Experience with VLCC Specifix Professional Instant Radiance Mask:

VLCC Specifix Professional Instant Radiance Mask comes packed in a pure white coloured tube which houses all the details about the product including product description and ingredient list in English. The tube has a broad green band on the top of it which gives it a different look packaging-wise. It comes with a white coloured cap which closes tightly with a light click. The closure cap is leakage proof.

It is actually quite convenient and hygienic to use since it comes in a tube like form rather than in a tub like form. You just have to carefully squeeze out product from the tube to avoid any unwanted wastage. It comes in a 200 gm tube and retails for Rs 399 which is great at this price point. The packaging looks quite bulky in size even for the 200 gm size, so it might be a bit troublesome for travel-purposes. Overall, I love the colour-themed packaging and its sturdiness. It is simple but it is pretty.

The “Instant Radiance Mask” has a cream-based texture. It is off-white in colour and the consistency is thick. Since the consistency is more on the thicker side, it is very easy to control the product flow and it will prevent unwanted spillage. It is enriched with Mulberry, Lemon Peel, Jojoba Oil and Turmeric.

The texture is very smooth and creamy and it spreads on the face very easily. The formulation is cream based and hence it does not leave the skin feeling tight. The formula is lightweight and does not cause any discomfort. It has no significant fragrance, but if you take a close sniff then you will get a fresh smell which I feel will not bother anyone with sensitive noses. I need about 2-3 coin-sized pumps to cover my entire face. I apply it using a pack brush to get the job done more uniformly. Sometimes, I also apply it on my neck.

Now coming to the efficacy of this mask, firstly, it suited my skin well. It did not sting or irritate my skin. It doesn’t feel sticky or stretchy. With almost a month of use, my skin has experienced a visible change. The incessant heat of summers calls for something that can fight off dullness and lifeless texture of skin. During this time of the year, sunburns, redness, sudden bumps and tanning is quite common. Hence I felt that this mask will be highly suitable for fighting off these issues. It is enriched with all natural extracts of turmeric and mulberry which is believed to be great in enhancing brightness naturally.

I use this pack about twice or thrice a week. This pack works well and tugs out all the dirt and impurities from the pores to reveal clearer complexion. It leaves my skin squeaky clean. It removes dullness and redness caused by heat allergy easily. I believe these claims made by this pack are true. It also performs decently in soothing my skin and brings back the much needed freshness. It helps in shrinking the pore size and improving the texture of the skin.

It makes my pore areas cleaner and smoother. My face felt soft and supple. It provides a decent amount of nourishment to the skin but it is not very hydrating. It doesn’t dry out my combination skin, so I feel that you really don’t need to follow up with a moisturiser. It also keeps excess oil at bay for quite a good amount of time.
Now let’s talk about the major claim of this product. Does it cause instant radiance?? Well, you wouldn’t believe but yes I spotted instant brightness in just one use. By brightness, I don’t mean fairness, but removing the dull layer from your face and revealing a truly radiant skin tone. It felt like I got some salon treatment done. All the dullness and tanning was gone. My face felt fresh and rejuvenated. I instantly fell in love with the results. It claims what it does without taking much time. It also helped in good detoxification and added a healthy glow which felt great. After rinsing off, this product leaves a soothing feel and I really loved the experience. I am using it on a regular basis because the formula is gentle and did not cause any side-effects. So, I feel it is worth the hype.

You really don’t need to visit beauty salons when you can get such luxurious skin treatments at the comfort of your home. The size of the tube is quite big and this will last me really long. Economically, this favours me as well. The best part of it is that it is free from use of parabens so it will not harm me in the long run.

Overall, I am very happy with this product. I do not need to summarize explicitly because the entire review has no specific cons. It works really well and I think it is worth of being given a try.
