VLCC has a range of professional beauty care products called “Specifix Professional”. I came to know about this range from my beauty salon. I have been neglecting my feet for a long time. Now that summer is here and I decided to give my feet a must needed pamper session. I decided to try a Hand and Foot Spa kit from their range. Let’s see how it worked for me.
INR 125 for a single session kit. (It means either you can do a manicure or pedicure with one kit).
My Experience with VLCC Specifix Professional Oceano Hand and Foot Spa:
The kit comes in a cardboard packaging. Inside it there are 4 small tubes and one small cylindrical box packed neatly in a transparent casing. I was really happy with the packing. The tubes are always better than the sachets.
The kit comes with a pack of foot salt, a cleanser, a scrub, a cream and a pack (all 10 g). The packaging of all the products is the same white tube with details printed in black. On each of them, the step number is mentioned. It helps in picking the right product in right sequence. The instructions are printed on the box itself. The complete list of ingredients is mentioned which looks impressive.
Step 1: Foot Salt
I added the foot salt into warm water and soaked my feet for 5-10 minutes. It really relaxes the tired feet and de-odorised them.
Step 2: Cleanser
I squeezed some cleanser into a small tub of warm water and soaked my feet into it. The cleanser is transparent in color and has the consistency of a shampoo. The fragrance is quite refreshing. It does not foam much and I ended up using more product. My feet felt refreshingly clean after using it.
Step 3: Scrub
It is a regular scrub and nothing extraordinary. The fragrance is similar to the cleanser which is mild and refreshing. The granules are fine and work effectively at removing dead skin.
Step 4: Cream
This is my favourite product of the lot. It is white in color with just the right consistency. The buttery soft texture makes massaging your feet fun.
Step 5: Anti-Tan Pack
It is a thick cream which needs to be applied evenly as a pack. I added a little water as I found it little difficult to spread it on my feet. It claims to remove tan. My feet are not tanned, but it gave them a little pampering session.
Overall, it is a decent product and nothing extraordinary. My feet were clean and soft after the session. It moisturised them well. You cannot expect miraculous results overnight. It is a good maintenance kit which you can use every now and then along with your regular trips to the salon. I have become the fan of foot salt though. I have already bought 2 more single session kits. It an affordable kit for a spa-like session at home. So, what are you waiting for? Go pamper yourself!
