My Experience with VLCC Daily Protect Sun Screen Cream SPF 25 PA+++ with Olive Oil:
VLCC Sunscreen comes in a nice white and yellow tube with an orange flip flop cap that secures the product perfectly. It’s a nice lightweight, travel-friendly tube and quite affordable according to the quantity.
Sunscreen has soft creamy texture that glides so well on skin and blends easily without leaving behind any white cast on the skin. It gets absorbed into the skin within few massages and makes the skin feel extremely smooth and soft. I like its lightweight texture which is good for all skin types.
Now, it has Olive oil in it and the formula does provide good hydration to the skin which lasts throughout the day. I have quite oily skin but during this winter, my skin becomes dry and I have some dry patches on skin too. I picked it only for its nourishing formula. This sunscreen acts a deep moisturizer that helps to heal dry patches and makes the skin softer and smoother. Hence, it never feels greasy or heavy. I personally love its balance formula. But, it can’t control oil for long so, I am not sure that how will it behave during summer. For now, it works pretty well. Especially if you have dry skin, you would love it for all seasons.
We all know that Indian summer means heavy sun rays and we Indians get tanned easily. But somehow, most of the nourishing high protected sunscreens feel quite heavy on skin, so I went for a medium protected sunscreen that has SPF 25 PA+++. Maybe, it’s not best for summer, but I am happy with its quality. It’s good for daily usage and I can easily wear it underneath my makeup too. It protects my skin from sun damage and also helps to repair skin cells. Actually, it has a nice velvety soft finish that helps to reduce the dullness and gives a nice healthy glow to the skin. Still, I would not recommend it for heavy summer days; it’s good for winters and for normal uses.
Also, it lasts long on skin and keeps skin fresh throughout the day. Only, after 4-5 hours my T-Zone gets oily and I have to set it. Otherwise, it suits to my sensitive skin well and protects skin from redness too. It never causes sweat too. Only, it doesn’t have any effect on sun tan. Obviously, it protects skin from tanning, but can’t fade out the previous tan.
Overall, it’s a good daily wear medium protected sunscreen that provides good nourishment to skin and works so well during this winter season. I love how it makes my skin softer.
