My Experience with VLCC Tulsi Acne Clear Face Wash:
I spotted this tulsi face wash from VLCC at a local beauty store. I am facing severe skin issues these days. My skin is reacting really badly in this humid weather. The product looked appealing at a glance as it claims to clear acne problem. So, I decided to give it a shot. Here comes my experience with this product. The face wash comes in a regular VLCC packaging, i.e. a simple clear plastic squeeze tube. The tube has a white sticker on it. The labels at the front and back of this tube has every detail about the product. The tube closes with a clear flip cap that fits tightly and makes it leak proof. The clear tube helps to see the amount of product left inside. The tube is sturdy and leak-proof but a little bulky for travel purposes.
The face wash is translucent and contains yellow and green-colored micro beads. These green micro beads dissolve upon massaging while the yellow ones are the exfoliating particles. These exfoliating particles give the mild exfoliation to the skin regularly. It has a very strong and pungent smell. It smells like strong herbs. There is no artificial smell added and I am glad the smell lasts for a shorter period of time only.
The consistency of the face wash is slightly on the thicker side. It is a gel-like liquid, so the product does not spill easily. The face wash spreads nicely on the face and lathers well. A pea-sized amount is required to cleanse heavily oily and dirty face. The face wash cleanses my combination skin deeply and removes every bit of oil and dirt leaving clear and fresh-looking skin. It easily removes a little makeup too. I did a makeup test with it. I was wearing light makeup and straightaway washed off my face with this face wash. After that, to check if it has removed all the makeup or not, I took a wet wipe and swiped all over my face. I was really impressed with the results as it had deeply removed every bit of makeup too. The face wash is enriched with so many natural ingredients like basil oil and tea tree oil, which are well known for their skin-healing properties. Their antiseptic properties help to fight acne and other skin issues.
The face wash is also enriched with Vitamin E that helps to reduce dark spots and scars. All these components have worked great for my skin. It helped me control my acne up to a great extent. It leaves my skin clear and acne-free. Though, the face wash is meant for all skin types, I find it a little drying for my combination skin. So, I had to apply a moisturizer just after washing my face. Overall, I am happy with the product.
