What is VMV HypoAllergenics?
VMV HypoAllergenics is the only brand to validate its hypoallergenicity: their VH-Rating System (an original VMV skinnovation) is based on objective, independent references for allergens: the North American Contact Dermatitis Group + European Surveillance System on Contact Allergies.
VMV is included as a safer product alternative in CAMP, the Contact Allergen Management Program of the American Contact Dermatitis Society.Their studies are so good that they do clinical trials for some of the largest pharmaceutical, cosmetic and laser companies!
In addition to proven efficacy, VMV HypoAllergenic products are as skin safe as you’ll ever see: Validated Hypoallergenic VH -76 (sans all 76 common allergens), 100% All-Types-Of-Fragrance-Free,100% Phthalate, Dye, Paraben + Preservative-Free, and Non-Comedogenic.
What ‘Fine Finish’ Pore Minimiser Claims To Do:
Causes the cells around pores to expand slightly, allowing each pore to be constricted inward to reduce visible pore size. Lessens pore visibility and can help control shine.
My Experience with VMV Hypoallergenics Fine Finish Pore Minimiser:
I started using this product once the first week, twice the second week and so on; just as the lady at VMV HypoAllergenics told me to. The usage should slowly increase to twice a day, but not earlier than 8 weeks. The same is mentioned on their website as well. The pore minimiser is a transparent astringent-like liquid. The skin needs time to get adjusted to the product and only then its full effect will be visible. When using it, there should be very little product on the cotton ball; it shouldn’t be dripping wet with the product or else your face will feel absolutely stiff and trust me it’s one of the most uncomfortable feelings ever.
When I started using this product, I found no change whatsoever and grew impatient. Also, the smell is too strong, just like super strong astringent when applied, but it disappears in a few seconds. ( Note: The strong smell is not fragrance. All their products are fragrance-free). However, I continued to use it as directed. When I reached the 7th week, I noticed my skin had started to tighten up and the pores were visibly reduced. My skin felt more matte than it was earlier and softer too.
There is no permanent solution to open/big pores, but with continuous usage of this product, my pores feel so much smaller and my skin feels tight. Once I stopped using this product for a few weeks, I noticed that my skin is still the same, firm, smaller pores, etc. So, I decided to completely stop using this product for a month and half to notice the difference. My skin was still fine but the pores had started to open up again. Oh well, I’m back to using this product everyday now.
Overall, this product is great! I’ve been using it everyday and with regular usage, my pores have become smaller and my skin feels amazing. My combination skin has stopped acting up too. If you do plan to purchase this product, make sure to speak with the professionals there, they’ll measure your skin tone, type, etc., and accordingly give you products for use.
