Hello ladies,

How you all doing? After a row of DIYs I am reviewing a lipstick for you all today. This is from VOV, and yes this is my first VOV lipstick. After seeing some nice reviews of VOV products, I went to the local beauty centre looking for VOV eyeliner and found this pretty lipstick there. They had testers too so I got chance to check the shade before buying which was very nice. I liked few more shades but as I was not aware of the formula and staying power I though it will be wise to buy one first and decided accordingly (you see I am smart buyer, however husband thinks the other way round 😛 )

My experience with VOV lipstick in 011 Party:

I bought this lipstick out of temptation, and after using it I feel I took a right decision. The first thing which caught my fancy was its packaging, which reminds me of old Colorbar creamy lipstick. I have one of those and love it a lot, that is my MLBB shade. And second was wide verity of shades for such low price. I swatch few colours and picked this light plumy pink shade, which looks like a lovely soft pink when swiped just once. It has very-very fine silver shimmer in it which is visible only when you apply 3-4 swipes. With one or two swipes that shine is not visible.

This shade is a good choice for office also. It also scores very well on staying power. It stays for good 5 hours with full meal and fades leaving a pinkish tint behind which I love. I have attached the picture here where it became little lighter after 3 hours and snacks (samosa from my favourite sweets shop ) and then it left the pink tint behind after dinner. And yes I also ate mango in the real Indian style, still this pinkish tint stayed. (more staying power then my other long wear lipsticks in half price 😀 )

The formula is also great, it’s not drying, and has creamy texture. It glides easily on lips without a lip balm underneath. But this is not transfer proof and stains. However I just loved this shade and this lipstick for this price. And planning to pick few more shade very soon.
