I had purchased several lip palettes during the last few months and decided to buy lip brushes for each one of them. I spotted this brush from W7 and decided to give it a try. Today’s review is all about W7 Retractable Lip Brush. Read on to know more.

My Experience with W7 Retractable Lip Brush:

The product comes in a sealed plastic pouch. There is a bright pink shiny cardboard on the back which has the information needed about the brush. The package is not the most convenient one out there. The reason being that the opening is at the top and since the brush is short, you need to struggle to get the brush out. You need to squeeze from the bottom to get it out and I am not sure if I would use pouch to store my brush when I go out. In this reference, I like the Essence Brush package as they have the horizontal opening and it is easy to take out the brush. I do not fancy the outer package.

The brush body is black in color and is made of plastic. The quality of the plastic is good. As the name suggests, it is a retractable brush and you need to twist to get the brush out. There is no cap to the brush which is a bummer and even though it retracts, I wish there was a cap to the brush. The main point of this brush is the tiny size which makes it a perfect companion to travel with. You can place this brush anywhere in your purse or bag and have your lip palette on the go! The brush remains away from touching any of the surfaces if retracted back. You can retract up and down easily. While twisting, you feel that there is a tight spring which kind of gives it a slow movement, but without a few uses the spring inside gets used to it. The length of the brush is not very long and this makes it easier to hold and use.

The bristles are flat and well aligned to form a tapered end. They are densely packed and has enough quantity of bristles for a good finish. The bristles are very soft on the skin and I like it. They are not natural and during a wash, I noticed a few bristles here and there. After drying, it does retain back to the old shape without any issues. The brush also helps in ensuring a nice finish. It picks the product very well and glides smoothly on the lips. It does streak a little and you need to go over to make sure that there is a smooth finish. The product works well with lipsticks and glosses. The tapered end makes application on the edges easier. However, the edges are really not very sharp and you need to tilt your brush a little to create that fine line. Overall, I like the brush. It is easier to carry and since I use lip palettes which do not come with brushes, I feel this one very useful. The product is also not very expensive and this makes it a product to buy. So summing up
