A bold lip look can say a lot about one’s personality. In fact, it defines my personality. I love to sport the bold lips trend, regardless of the season. People claim that vampy looks are strictly for winters but how you carry it matters the most. Today’s look is all about bold lips with warm rusty smokey eyes. I feel this is the perfect balance of subtle and bold in one look, and that’s why this look goes well with all sort of outfits, especially when you’re attending a party. So now, let’s get started with the tutorial.
For this look, I begun with face makeup. I moisturised my face well and then applied a nice face primer. After that, I applied my foundation by dabbing it into the skin with a sponge. Next, I concealed my under eye area and hid spots with the same concealer. After that, I used a bronzer to contour my cheeks, nose and jawline.
I even baked my face for this look. To do that, I simply applied some loose powder under my eyes, on the bridge of the nose and right under my jawline. After a few minutes I dusted the powder and blended everything well. This trick helps to set the makeup in place and it also brightens up the skin.
Next, I used a warm pink blush on my cheeks and also applied some highlighter on the highest parts of my face. Since I used a lot of powder products, I finally applied a face mist and dabbed it on to set my makeup.
I applied a warm rusty brown shadow on my crease and lid both to define them well. Then, I blended them smoothly with a round blending brush. This shade warmed up my overall look perfectly.
Next, I applied a brown shadow just on my crease area and on the outer corners. I blended this shadow with a light hand process and mixed the colour well with the previous shade.
I used a golden shimmery shadow on my eyelids. Here, I applied it with a wet brush to avoid any fall out. I just dabbed the shade on the area and with a dome shaped brush. I, then, blended the outer harsh sides and mixed the shade with that brown shadow.
Next, I drew a normal winged eyeliner and extended the line sharply.
I applied that same rusty shadow on my lower lash line and then applied that brown shadow again on the lower lash line. Then, I blended all the colours with a blending brush. After this, I applied a black kajal on my lower lash line and drew a thin line with it. Also, don’t forget to smudge the line for a natural look.
To finish this look, I curled my lashes and applied a mascara. I also filled my eyebrows in with a brown eyebrow pencil.
On my lips, I used a beautiful bold vampy red liquid lipstick and then drew a fake lip ring with a metallic eyeliner.
Here is my final look. I paired it with a pair of beautiful earrings and made a messy bun. Hope you liked this look too. I’ve also marked the shades on the palettes today for you all. 🙂
