My Experience with Watsons Avocado Conditioning Treatment Shampoo:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The shampoo comes in a huge translucent green-colored plastic bottle. The translucent body helps to keep a watch on the amount of the product left inside. The bottle comes with a pump dispenser but the dispenser does not have any locking system or anything, so it cannot be carried along while travelling. Also, the bottle is too bulky to carry around. The bottle bears a label at the back of the bottle, which bears the product description, ingredients list and other necessary information about the product. Overall, the packaging is sturdy but it definitely is not a travel-friendly one.

The shampoo is translucent white in color. It has a mild and refreshing fragrance. The smell is not too overpowering and fades away gradually. Therefore, it will not bother people with sensitive noses. The consistency of the shampoo is slightly on the runnier side. It spreads well onto the hair and lathers nicely, but all shampoos from Watsons require a good quantity to lather perfectly. Therefore, I need a lot of product to work on my greasy hair. It roughly takes 2-3 pumps to clean my mid length hair properly.

The shampoo is enriched with avocado oil. Since the product claims to be a conditioning one, I expected a little more from this shampoo, but it did not live up to my expectations. Though, the shampoo perfectly removes all the dirt and grime from my hair and scalp, so I am happy with its cleansing properties, but it makes my hair rough and dry. This shampoo is specialized for dry and dull hair, but it makes my hair more dull, dry and lifeless. It takes away all the moisture of my hair and makes it so frizzy.

My hair almost looked like a witch’s broom. It gets really difficult to detangle and causes a lot of hair breakage. Therefore, using a conditioner post washing is mandatory to make the hair manageable. My hair looks better when treated with Watsons Avocado Hair Treatment Wax after using this shampoo, but when used alone, using a conditioner is must for this shampoo to prevent hair breakage and to make hair smooth and manageable.

Pros of Watsons Avocado Conditioning Treatment Shampoo:
