My Experience with Watsons Chamomile Calming and Softening Facial Mask:
This sheet mask comes in a very cute packaging. The packet is light pink in color. The cute prints on the packet are nice and attractive. The back of this packet bears the entire product-related information. Each packet contains one sheet mask. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
The sheet mask is made up of soft cloth. This mask comes folded with a blue-colored sheet. The sheet mask is made up of very thin and soft cloth. So, I liked the idea that it comes on blue sheet for easier application because the mask is so thin that it keeps folding while applying and sometimes it tears apart. It is very easy to use. Just wash off your face and pat dry. Now, open the mask and place the white side of the mask on skin – then smooth the mask on the skin removing any bubbles nicely. Press gently onto the face and then remove the blue sheet. The mask has regular cutouts for eyes, nose and lips. The cutouts of this mask are of perfect size. Leave the mask for some time. I prefer keeping it for 30 minutes approximately to let it dry out completely.
The cloth mask is soft and is completely infused in serum. The mask is quite wet and the serum drips from the mask, which makes the application quite messy. The mask fits very nicely on the face and does not slip off even if I do my work or move around. The mask has a mild chamomile fragrance. The fragrance lasts for more than an hour and fades away gradually. The smell is too mild and not bothersome.
This mask claims to soften, soothe and moisturize the skin. It does its job well. It deeply moisturizes my skin. My skin became softer after using this mask. It suited my sensitive and acne-prone skin pretty well. It did not cause break outs on my skin. My skin stayed pretty hydrated for the whole day. It took away all the dryness of my skin and made my skin look healthier. Though, I keep the mask for approximately half an hour, it did not dry out completely. Therefore, I had to massage the extra serum left on my skin. This requires a long massage of approximately 5-10 minutes to let the serum infuse into the skin completely. The results of the sheet mask are too short-lived and hardly lasts a day.
