My Experience with Watsons Mung Bean Oil-Control and Refreshing Facial Mask:

The sheet mask comes in a very cute green colored plastic packet. The packet has cute designs and characters printed on it. The back of this packet bears the entire product related information. Each packet contains one sheet mask, which comes on a blue sheet for easy application. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.

The sheet mask is made up of very fine and thin cloth. The mask comes on a blue colored sheet. Applying the mask is pretty simple and easy. Just cleanse your face and pat it dry. Now, open the mask and place the white side of the mask on the skin; then smooth the mask on the skin removing any bubbles covering the contours of the face nicely. Press gently onto the face and then remove the blue sheet. The material of the mask is quite soft and thin, so this blue sheet helps to properly spread the mask on the skin and prevents it from folding back. Now leave the mask for some time. I prefer keeping it for 25-30 minutes to let it dry completely.

The mask is properly infused with the serum. The mask is perfectly moist and I am happy that the serum does not drip from the mask. The sheet mask has cutouts for eyes, nose and lips, which fit my face perfectly. The mask is quite large in size and covers my face properly. The mask adheres to the face nicely and does not slip off while moving around. It has a mild and refreshing fragrance. The smell is non-bothering and fades away gradually. I gently massage the left out essence into my skin. I have sensitive and acne-prone skin and this face mask did not break me out.

This mask claims to refresh the skin and control excessive sebum secretion. I was in doubt about the oil-control claims but I was really amazed at the results of this sheet mask. First of all, since it is an oil-control sheet mask it does not make my skin greasy or oily. It does not leave any shiny film behind. My skin looks pretty much matte with a nice glow on it. It does not dry out my skin. The oily sheath from my face goes away and I am left with a pretty smooth and hydrated skin.

The formula is too hydrating. It nourishes my skin deeply and provides ample amount of hydration to my skin. It also does not make my skin oily; it makes my skin soft and supple. My skin has become pretty much smooth and brightened. So, as per the claims, my skin stays hydrated, oil free and nourished. But the effects of this mask are really short lived and hardly last a day or so, which is quite disappointing.
