My Experience with Watsons Silk Hydrating and Illuminating Facial Mask:
The sheet mask comes in a very cute lilac coloured plastic pocket which bears the product name and some cute designs on it. The back side of this pocket bears the entire product related information. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.
The sheet mask is made up of a very fine, soft cloth and comes pasted on a blue coloured sheet. You just need to wash your face and pat it dry before using this mask. Place the white side of the mask on your skin and make sure to cover the contours of your face nicely. Now, smoothen out the mask to remove any bubbles. Press the mask gently onto your face and remove the blue sheet alone. Now, leave the mask to stay on your skin for some time. I prefer leaving the mask for about 30 minutes until it dries out completely. Massage the remaining serum onto the skin until it gets completely absorbed.
The cloth mask is soft and it is deeply infused in a serum. It is perfectly moist and does not drip unlike the Collagen Sheet Mask from Watsons. The mask is large enough to fit my face perfectly. It does not slip off from your face thereby, allowing you to move around. The mask has a mild and non-bothering fragrance but, it is not very appealing also.
The mask does not leave any residue or an oily cast behind. It works best for women with combination to oily skin as it does not make your skin oily nor cause any breakouts. The sheet mask deeply moisturises, hydrates and imparts a plumping effect to the skin. I noticed a healthy matte glow after using this sheet mask. Also, my dull skin looked brighter and healthy. It really works great but, the effects are not long lasting. The results hardly last for a day. Overall, this sheet mask is a good and an inexpensive option.
