My Experience with Watsons Yoghurt Smoothing Treatment Shampoo:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The shampoo comes in a huge pink-colored translucent plastic bottle. This helps to keep an eye on the amount of the product left inside. The bottle comes with a pump dispenser, which makes it easy to use, but there is no locking system in the pump, so you cannot carry it around when you are traveling. Overall, the packaging is nice and sturdy but it definitely for travel purposes.

The shampoo is a pearly white-colored liquid. It has a very sweet and refreshing fruity fragrance, but it is slightly strong and may irritate people with sensitive noses. This fragrance lingers for quite sometime and then fades away gradually.

The consistency of the shampoo is neither too thick nor too runny. It just has the right consistency, which helps to spread the shampoo easily. It lathers well but I need a good amount to cleanse my heavily oiled hair. I roughly need two pumps of this shampoo to cleanse my mid-length hair properly. This shampoo is specially formulated for rough and curly hair. Though my hair is not completely curly, it is slightly wavy and rough, and that’s why I picked this shampoo. It is enriched with the goodness of yoghurt and vitamins, which helps to nourish the hair. The shampoo perfectly removes all dirt and grime from my hair and scalp. It removes excess oil from my hair and scalp without snatching the moisture. I have dry and frizzy hair. Though I am happy with the cleansing properties of this shampoo, it does not help in smoothing out my rough hair. My hair tangles a lot which leads to breakage of hair. To overcome this problem, it is mandatory to use a conditioner post washing to keep my hair manageable and smooth. I have been using this product along with Watsons Yoghurt Smoothing Hair Wax Treatment. The combination of the two gives me even better results.

Overall, this is just an average hair care product and there is nothing extraordinary about it. Also, it does not live upto its “hair smoothing claim” completely.
