Potato peel contains a good amount of starch which works as a colorant, thus, slowing down the graying of hair and darkening your hair follicles easily. Peel few potatoes and collect the skin. Now, take two cups of water and boil one cup of potato skin. Allow it to boil for some time and add few drops of essential oil of your choice. Now, pour the liquid on the hair and saturate each hair strand. Rinse off with water.

Regular application of onion juice on the scalp can help to darken the hair roots, thus, preventing hair graying. Extract some onion juice and massage your hair roots with this. Leave it on for 40 minutes and wash off with cold water.
