8 Ways to Stop Excessive Facial Sweating

I am back with another post! Today, we would be discussing the ways to stop excessive facial sweating. Sweating is not only an embarrassing issue but sweat on the face can be a serious issue which should be treated as soon as possible. It can wash off the makeup very soon and also lower the confidence in a person. So, here we mention ways to stop excessive facial sweating.


1. Green gram dal paste:

Green gram dal has proved to work effectively in preventing excessive sweating on the face. It helps to treat excessive sweating on the face and also promotes brighter and softer skin. Take some green gram dal and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Now, make a paste and add 1-2 spoons of honey. Spread on the face and wash off with water.

2. Talcum powder:

Another great way to stop excessive facial sweating is using a good quality talcum powder. Using talcum powder can help to soak the excess oil and sweat on the face and also make the sweat glands less active. Apply a good quality talcum powder and leave it overnight.

Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which helps to maintain the pH level of the skin. Take 2 cups of apple cider vinegar and add two cups of water to it. Add some honey to it and mix together. Apply this mixture on the face with a cotton ball and allow it to dry. Wash off with cold water. Repeat this remedy 3 times in a day to prevent facial sweating completely.

Using tea tree oil is not only effective in controlling facial sweating but it also helps in keeping the acne at bay. Tea tree oil contains anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties which can help to stop excessive facial sweating. Due to astringent properties in tea tree oil, it can help to stop the sweat glands on the skin. Take some tea tree oil and apply on the face using a cotton ball. Wait for some time and wash off with cold water.

7. Coconut oil:

Due to lauric acid in coconut oil, it proves beneficial in treating facial sweating. Coconut helps to kill the bacteria on the facial skin and also keep it germ-free. Coconut oil is excellent to be used on all types of skin and can promote hydrated and soft skin. Take some coconut oil and massage your face with this. Leave it overnight and wash off with lukewarm water.

8. Lemon:

It is one among the easy home remedies that can help to soak the excess oil on the face. Besides using lemon juice to prevent underarm sweating or body sweating, you can use lemon to prevent facial sweating as well. Take one lemon and extract some juice. Apply on the face and leave it for some time. Wash off with water. Do this twice every day to prevent excessive sweating on the face.
