This is a traditional and sexy way of draping a saree. This is extremely popular among Bengalis. Here, the saree is little loose at the waist and then the border is completely hanging at the bottom. And the pleats are tucked in at the back.

2. Gujarati Style:

Gujarat is also known for its unique saree draping style. Here, all the pleats are being tucked and draped to the left side. And that is the reason why the left side is left open and the pallu is taken from the right shoulder.

3. Mumtaz Style Saree:

We all have seen this saree style. This is tight and closely clung to the petticoat. Here, the saree is usually draped twice to thrice. This ensures that the saree is all fitting and has the perfect Mumtaz look.

4. Square Pallu:

This is the latest trending saree style for special occasions. Just do your front pallu in a normal way and then take the pallu from your left underarm and then bring at the front from your right arm. Now, you need to bring the pallu to your left shoulder and pin it. Take all these and pin it together at the top of your left shoulder. And then your square pallu is ready.

5. Butterfly Pallu:

This is a very easy yet stylish way of draping a saree. Here you need to show off your midriff and then when you pleat the saree at the left shoulder, don’t keep them at the back. Just keep them at the front hanging just like a butterfly.

6. Pleated into Blouse:

This is a very stylish way of wearing a saree but with a simple twist and this will give you lot of room and comfort. Here the pleat of your shoulder should come from your blouse. But of course, the blouse should be designed in similar fashion.

This is the runway style of wearing a saree. Here, the entire saree is worn in a simple way only. You only need to drape the pleat around your neck rather than keep it hanging below your shoulder.

8. Half Saree Style:

Half saree style is invented by none other than runaway designer, Anamika Khanna. Here you need to hold the inner end of your saree and make big pleats. Now, tuck these pleats inside and then wrap the upper edge around your waist towards your back at the right side. Now, make the pleats at the top and toss them on your left shoulder. This will give the look of tulip flower to your saree.

9. Dhoti Style Saree:

Here, the saree is clung only to your lower waist. Make pleats so that they cover both your legs and the part remaining can be used to cover the front pleat exactly between two legs.

10. Double Saree Style:

This is a very trendy and stylish way among fashionistas to wear saree. Take your first saree and make six short pleats out of it. Tuck them at the centre, take the pallu and make pallu pleats as usual. Keep your pallu hanging in a circular form from your shoulder. Now, make 5 pleats of your second saree overlapping the first saree. Again, make the pallu pleats and bring it to the front from the other end of your shoulder.
