Today’s review is about Weleda Vanilla and Rose Everon Lip Balm. Weleda is a German-Swiss beauty company which produces products using only natural ingredients. The products are not tested on animals, making it cruelty free. The company is almost 100 years old. Moving on to the product, I have used few of their face creams before; totally loved them. So wanted to try the lip care product which has a very good rating on internet. Now that it’s freezing cold here, lip balm is a must. Since my kids also need it, I wanted something natural.

My Experience with Weleda Vanilla and Rose Everon Lip Balm:
The packaging is good. It comes in a swivel up lipstick kind of a tube. The outside is all plastic. The lid opens and closes very easily with a click. There is no chance of it getting opened in a handbag or so. Completely travel safe.
The lip balm is yellow in color. The consistency is hard. The lip balm is not creamy or so. It feels very waxy – hard wax kinds. The smell of the balm is of vanilla and rose. The rose notes are on higher side. It has a very strong fragrance of wild rose; I love the smell of it. If you don’t prefer rose smell, then it’s not for you. The smell doesn’t linger around long; may be for 30 mins or so, and then the fragrance is gone.
The lipcare lasts very very long on the lips. I didn’t expect this kind of staying power from a lip balm. I drank warm water, ate some food but still the lip balm didn’t budge. I apply it every night before going to sleep. I see that the lip balm is still present on my lips in the morning! Yes, it has unbelievable staying power.
I apply a thin layer of it before applying my make up and do not remove it before applying my lipstick. My lipstick stays throughout the day. It’s a good lip primer too. The product does wonders to the lips. My lips are very well moisturized and feel extremely soft all the time. It’s a great lip balm. One of the best I have used till date.

Sure. It’s one of the best lip balms I have used till date. I feel extremely safe using it given the fact that it’s all organic.

I can’t recommend enough. It does moisturize the lips well and the best part is that it’s organic and cruelty free. If you are looking for well moisturised lips then go for it.
