Today, I’m going to review the Wella EIMI Sugar Lift Sugar Spray. I have used a Salt spray before but, I have never used a Sugar spray. So, let’s see how this one fared for me.

My Experience with Wella EIMI Sugar Lift Sugar Spray for Voluminous Texture:
The hair spray comes in a plastic grey bottle with a white cap and a normal spray nozzle. Once pressed, the product comes out as a fine mist. The hair spray feels like a watery mist and it blends smoothly onto my hair. It also has a very nice and pleasant smell which I love.
This hair spray is a sugar lift spray and it is totally a new product to me. As per the instructions, I applied the spray on my damp hair. At first, I didn’t understand what it actually did to my hair so, I sprayed some more product and blow dried my hair. By doing this, my hair turned a little messy and looked a bit voluminous. I also tried the scrunching technique and then my hair turned into nice messy beachy waves.
It adds volume and lifts my hair but, as I already have a very straight hair this technique didn’t work for me. Next time, I sprayed the product on damp hair and curled my hair with a rubber rod. I kept those rubber rods for around 15-20 minutes after which I blow dried my hair. Once I removed all the rubber rods, my hair looked beautiful, curly and bouncy. It looked so voluminous.
This spray holds my curls nicely and it just took 15-20 minutes to create a beautiful look. Generally, without that spray, this no-heat curling rod takes a longer time to provide the desired results but with this spray, it is very easy to achieve these beautiful curls. It actually defines my curls beautifully and provides a nice volume to my hair. I have full straight hair so, it didn’t work unless until I styled my hair.
Without creating any style, this spray provides a little messy texture to my hair but then, it made my hair rough. This can be used on dry hair as it acts like a holding spray. This spray has 3 holding powers and it holds my hairstyle for a decent amount of time. My curls stayed nicely for around 6-7 hours after which my curls looked a little loose. Still, it holds those loose curls all day long.
But, I didn’t notice any difference in my hair texture. It can’t provide any shine to my hair and it made my hair dry. The spray doesn’t feel sticky yet I need to condition my hair on the next day. I don’t think it will work well for dry and damaged hair. I have soft, smooth hair so it looks quite good on me. Overall, I like this product and I liked its holding power.

Cons of Wella EIMI Sugar Lift Sugar Spray for Voluminous Texture:
- Not suitable for dry or damaged hair.
- Can’t provide any shine or smooth effect.
- Makes hair rough and a little dry.
- Didn’t notice any huge changes in my hair texture.

If you want to try any new hair styling product, then it is a nice one. But, women with dry hair need a good nourishing conditioner after using this product.
