I have previously reviewed the Wella Oil Reflections Instant Conditioner. Here is the review of the shampoo from the same range.

My Experience with Wella Professionals Oil Reflections Luminous Reveal Shampoo:

Packaging: Wella takes packaging seriously and each range is uniquely designed. The packaging is just like the other Wella shampoo bottles, only this one is white and gold in color. The press top cap and convenient cylindrical shape is super handy for in-shower usage. All details are mentioned on the body of the bottle. It is not very bulky but sturdy, so if you are travelling for quite a few days, you can carry it along. The easy to use functional packaging is great for someone like me who has long nails and hates trying to open bottles in shower.

The texture of the shampoo is like a clear gel. It’s neither too thick nor runny, and the consistency is apt for easy usage. I often dilute the shampoo with water, but if you are someone who doesn’t dilute shampoos, this works just as fine. It lathers okay, not the most foaming hair cleanser, but enough to help you feel clean.

It rinses off easily, without leaving any residue. My scalp feels clean and refreshed, but I have used shampoos before that have given me squeaky clean scalp. However, this shampoo scores in giving you smooth shiny hair. It controls frizz to quite an extent and gives me soft hair, even when I skip a conditioner. It prevents static in my hair. The oil reflections shampoo and conditioner together make a killer combo providing clean and hydrated hair along with adding shine.

It also suits colored hair, helping to add a glossy shine to strands. If you have dull parched strands, this can work wonders. However, this range isn’t best for limp oily hair, as it controls volume and frizz. So, not a great choice if you want bouncy hair. The fragrance is quite strong but pleasant and lingers around for few hours at least. Sensitive noses might not be a fan. But, I like my hair smelling nice, so thumbs up from my end.
