WELLA SP Balance Scalp Lotion Review
Hi Sweeties,
So there was a time when I was getting a red itchy scalp, maybe the monsoons or the volumizing conditioners did not suit me. I was getting a hair trim, when the hair stylist introduced me to this WELLA SP Balance Scalp Lotion. It is a balancing leave-in lotion for delicate & sensitive scalps. The product cost is Rs. 800/-.
Product description:
An essential component of the SP Balance Scalp line, Wella SP Balance Scalp Lotion is formulated with Zinc Pyriothon Complex which delicately balances and soothes sensitive scalps as well as strengthening thin hair to reduce hair loss.
Directions of use:
1. Apply directly onto scalp in pre-shampooed, towel-dried hair or dry hair
2. Gently massage in
3. Do not rinse out.
Ingredients:
Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Betaine, Panthenol, Valine, Benzyl Alcohol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Methylparaben, Carbomer, Aminomethyl Propanol, Disodium EDTA, Tilia Cordata Extract, Salix Alba Bark Extract, Propylparaben.
My experience:
I started using this last year, followed the procedure for a month then gave a break. My brother also has a sensitive scalp; I applied on his scalp also.
The liquid is sweet smelling & gives a cooling effect once applied. It has a nozzle with which application becomes easy. Just slide through the scalp and massage. There is no need to rinse it. The only glitch I had was that overdoing made my hair oily. So I had to wash my hair every alternate day.
The sensitivity of the scalp went down. So now whenever I have an itchy scalp, I use this lotion only then. The packing of the product is nice and classy. The bottle is sturdy, easy to carry while travelling. The application nozzle is also a well thought idea.
Cheers to Wella for this one. *happy dance*
My brother loves me for this *hihi*.
PROS OF WELLA SP BALANCE SCALP LOTION:
1. Easy to use,
2. Results are visible,
3. Not very expensive compared to the other range in which Wella has similar products.
4. Nice packing and the nozzle applicator is a boon.
CONS OF WELLA SP BALANCE SCALP LOTION:
1. Makes scalp oily (for me since I have thin fine hair).
There are no other drawbacks than this, I can think of. So if you are facing a sensitive scalp issue this monsoon, I say go ahead with this one.
