Wella SP Clear Scalp Shampoo Review

Hello Beauties,

How are you all?  Hope you all are doing good !!

The weather seems like the sun is over my head 24*7 and it’s just the beginning of summers, I am wondering what is gonna happen in May and June? I’m sure working people will feel like they are red jungle fowls going through the kebab process 😛 So, coming to the product that I am reviewing today, it’s the Wella SP Clear Scalp Shampoo, read on if dandruff is your prime concern.

My Experience with Wella SP Clear Scalp Shampoo:

This shampoo comes in a white squared shape, sturdy plastic bottle with an easy press cap containing 250 ml of the quantity. The consistency of the shampoo is semi thick and is white in color. The fragrance of the shampoo is pleasant which lasts for around 3-4 hours and is not at all overpowering. The shampoo does its job effectively and clears the scalp off dandruff. The bottle says that it is a gentle dandruff removing cleanser, but I guess it is full of chemicals. It does not make hair frizzy or dry.  In fact, after application, hair feels soft and manageable. It does not cause hair fall either.

If you have dry hair, then you must use conditioner after this to get soft and silky hair. The only drawback I found is that it does not contain microbeads to gently exfoliate the scalp. If you remember my review of Kerastase Specifique Anti-Dandruff Moisturising Shampoo, compared to that shampoo, this one is a winner, my brother is still using the Kerastase one.  This shampoo does its job gently and you will notice the results after 2-3 washes, but it does not have moisturizing properties – you would have to use a conditioner or masque along with this. I apply oil two hours before hair wash and then wash my hair with this shampoo.  After first application, my hair feels clean and manageable.

Wella SP Clear Scalp Shampoo

After washing my hair, I apply L’Oreal or Kerastase masque to make my hair manageable as the anti-dandruff shampoo makes hair dry. Another disadvantage is that the product is full of chemicals, SLS and what not, but then every anti-dandruff shampoo has the same set of chemicals.  Dandruff is not my prime concern as I never had it, but I use anti-dandruff shampoo once in a week to clean my scalp effectively, but brother used it and found that it definitely does work and I recommend it to all people whose prime concern is dandruff, but if you have dry hair, skip this as it can make your hair rough and unmanageable.
