Wet n Wild Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette – Nude Awakening Review

Hola beautiful IMBBians!!!
This palette is part of my recent drug store haul and since it is so cheap and affordable I was very skeptic about its performance but it floored me with its amazing color collection and pigmentation. I write this review as a happy and satisfied customer and vehemently recommend it to readers.

My Take on Wet n Wild Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette – Nude Awakening:

I am not a big fan of mono eyeshadows because they are too much fuss and occupy a lot of space so I either depot them or just buy a palette and when I saw this one, I bought it because of the pretty rose and gold shades and also because it is very easy on pocket.

Packaging: It comes in plastic packaging, just like most drugstore palettes but not as sturdy; nevertheless it is not too fragile and is better than Sleek palettes which come apart easily. The case has rectangular slots which hold the eye shadows in their designated slots. It would have been better if there were an in-built mirror but alas, no such luck. It also comes with a sponge tip applicator but I never use it.

Shades in the palette (left to right):
• Shade 1: pale banana color which is perfect for defining skin around brows and brightening inner corner area.
• Shade 2: pale pink color with champagne color shimmer to it – looks pretty solo as well.
• Shade 3: soft brown color with mild shimmer and is barely noticeable on my skin my pairs well with dark shadows.
• Shade 4: dark brown color with shimmer and can be worn alone and goes well with my skin tone
• Shade 5: pretty rose color with gold shimmer.
• Shade 6: soft and subtle brown color which is the perfect transition color.
• Shade 7: I loved this shade the most; it is a oxblood color eye shadow which will suit all kinds of skin tones.
• Shade 8: chocolate brown color with colored shimmer particles and appears to have subtle pink undertones.
• Shade 9: matt chocolate brown color.
• Shade 10: intense black color which has insane pigmentation and one has to be very careful while using it because one can easily go overboard.

Wear time: Colors last for 8 to 10 hours and more if used with a primer but I have used them without a primer as well and they wear just as fine with good staying power.
