My Experience With Wet N Wild Cherry On Top Megalast Liquid Lip Color:

Packaging: I totally love the tube. It is a see through tube that shows the actual color of the lip color, with a black cap that holds the wand. The applicator is awesome. It is pretty much flat and picks up the right amount of product, and on both sides of it! In case you fall short, you can just turn it around and apply. The flat edge also makes it easier to work for corners. It is also very much sturdy to be carried around.

Shade: Cherry on top is a very bright red. It has very fine shimmers in it, which is not prominently visible. The red is very flattering and bold at the same time. This shade is not for the light-hearted!

Pigmentation and Texture: The pigmentation is absolutely superb. You’d never need to reach back to the tube for a second time at all. It is extremely bold and bright. The texture is lightweight. While applying, it may feel slightly heavy but once it settles it doesn’t feel like it’s there. When freshly applied it appears glossy but settles into a fine matte finish. Even though the texture is light, it sort of feels like there’s something sticking to the lips and you want to peel it away. It starts to flake after all the talking and chattering.

Lasting power: This lasts for around an hour, in place, without much talking. After which it starts to flake and peel off. The flakes literally tends to get all over my face and it is not possible to re-apply as it tends to accentuate the already present flakes. This is a very big turn off. It does not bleed, feather or transfer but the flaking part is a letdown. It also tends to highlight the lip lines and makes them look dry. It also dried out my lips a lot while claiming that it conditions the lips and hydrates them.

• Lovely bold red. Not for the light-hearted.
• Gives a neat matte finish.
• Pigmentation is awesome.
• Paraben free formula.
• Feels light on lips, not sticky or heavy.
• Does not bleed or feather.
• Transfer-proof.
• Affordable.

Cons of Wet N Wild Cherry On Top Megalast Liquid Lip Color:

• Settles into lip lines and highlights them.
• Though it feels light, it feels like something is stuck on the lips.
• It starts to flake after an hour.
• Dried out my lips.
• 8 hour claim is not exactly true.
• Very hard to remove every speck of it.

Would I Recommend/Re-Purchase Wet N Wild Cherry On Top Megalast Liquid Lip Color?
This is a bold red, but I don’t like to use that often. I think other shades might be better than this. As for this one, you might want to give it a thought before giving it a go.
