At times, I forage makeup aisles for no particular reason and more often than less, I come across some cheap tit bits or items on sale which seem very tempting, but are good-for-nothing. I have bought my fair share of junk from such sales and it still does not deter me from trying out other stuff on discount. Following is a review of product I bought on my recent ‘makeup scavenging’.
Product Description:
• New improved formula for 12-hour wear.
• Rich, hyper-pigmented color.
• Oh-so-smooth, oh-so-creamy application.
• Extremely versatile to create any look without smudging.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Baby’s Got Black Kohl Eyeliner:
So like I mentioned earlier, I came across this Kohl eye liners when I was ambling in the makeup aisles and what impressed me was the size of this Kohl pencil. It is super long and of decent girth. The biggest caveats with such cheap Kohls are that they are very dry, tug a lot and have very low pigmentation and precisely, that’s how this product’s predecessor was. But, the new improved formula literally kicks the rear of the old one. In fact, it puts to shame several other overpriced eyeliners which make so many false claims and fail miserably.
The texture is creamy, if not buttery and glides in smooth strokes, both on eye lids and water line without tugging. The staying power is also commendable. I tested it for seven hours on my water line and it stayed intact with mild fading and slight smudging. However, if one goes over board and applies multiple strokes on water line, it will smudge and one will end up with those hideous raccoon eyes that we all detest.
The color might not be the blackest black, but is black enough with impressive pigmentation and creates an intense black stroke on water line. These kohls are available in ten shades and cover almost all the major shades on the color wheel. Buyers should ensure that they are buying the eyeliners launched recently and refrain from buying the old formula.
In a nut shell, it is a good product with impressive performance and is definitely worth a try, after all 99 cents can’t hurt anyone!
