Wet n Wild has always made eye liners, but in February of this year, they launched a revamped collection of some of their products and these eye liners were in there as well. Some new colours and new shade names means a breath of fresh air and some awesome products for us!Calling Your Buff is such a cute name for an eyeliner and this skinny little (or rather long, I should say) pencils can easily fit through a straw. I love their transparent plastic lids as well. All in all this is a really fuss free and simple to use product.

This was my second eye liner purchase from this line and I just have to stop and repeat that these eye liners are only one dollar! At this price, I am loving trying out new shades and that has really upped the excitement makeup is bringing into my life! Also for $1, I can try out as many items as I like guilt free and these shades are so versatile and different that can compliment almost any look I like!

This eyeliner is very easy to use. You can see she shade of the pencil through the transparent plastic lid. This secures well and does not allow air in so the tip end of the pencil does not dry. The product itself is extremely creamy and smooth during application. The eyeliner just glides straight on! I love the names they have given to these eye liners; it is a fun play of words that helps you remember the shade by name. Of course, because the pencil itself is the same colour as the shade it makes for easy identification of the colour you want in your stash.

This shade, Calling Your Buff, is an off white or pale beige shade. The finish is matte so there is no shimmer or shine to it. I have tried to create a flick at the end of my eyeliner in the swatches and it was easy to do so with this pencil. This eye liner never drags during application and has no funny smell. I love this colour because it makes a great primer shade for my eyelids as well and for this purpose it also blends out really well. I just apply it on my full lid and smudge it out with a sponge wedge before doing my eye shadow.

The consistency of this eyeliner is very creamy and I think that it has to do with the ingredients in it. It has a lot of different waxes and oils in it, but unlike its counterparts this eyeliner has never flaked on me. I do not use it on my lids as an eyeliner a lot and I usually just use this product on my waterline or all over my lid as a primer. I have also recently started using it on my brow bone and cupids bow when I want to highlight without the shimmer. It has taken me some time to perfect this eyeliner for these two uses though, I have to say! The only reason this product works this way is because the pigmentation is good, but not very intense. So, I think this is a very versatile eye liner! Plus, all this for a dollar makes this a winner!

  1. Love these eyeliner Samrita, especially because of their price. This shade is really unique for an eyeliner, but you have made it really wearable. I like the idea of using it on cupid’s bow. 🙂

  2. This would be perfect to use on your waterline to make your eyes pop! I currently use the MAC flesh color pencil for the same which is actually a lip liner! :p
